She explains a simple seven sound test called the Ling test, what you are looking for and how to position your child.
As a result of performing this test yourself we hope you might be able to check if your child struggles with hearing particular types of sounds, normally temporarily.

This is the only instructional video I have found including the 7th sound for Australian English. Please can it be recorded again in an audio booth or at least indoors without the traffic interference? The information is so important and I would like to be able to share this video. Unfortunately as it is, the noise is distracting and it would be unprofessional of me to expect teachers or families with little to no experience in hearing, to fully understand what to do. Also demonstrating an optimal listening environment to conduct the test would be ideal. Thank you. I am glad I found this video but please, a new recording?
