I have a 2017 Ford Fusion and I got a code p2111 and the diagnostics test said I needed to clean the throttle body first choice was to take it to the dealership and have them do it but I ended up searching for videos on how to do it myself and came across this one I went to the auto part store down the street from my house and bought cleaner and came home and followed each of your steps and did it myself and now my car runs like new!! Thanks man for helping me fix my car and save alot of money by doing it myself

A couple important things I recommend that was not done in this video is to always replace the throttle body gasket before reinstalling it, very carefully remove all the old residual gasket material from the mating surfaces, and always open the throttle plate by hand slowly to avoid damage to the electric servo gears. Also, I commend this guy for smartly using only a very soft toothbrush and specifically throttle body cleaner (not carb cleaner) to clean it thoroughly, as stiff or wire brushes will damage the coating inside the bore of the throttle body which would ruin it. Also, I always recommend replacing the air filter (or in the case of my fusion cleaning and re-oiling the K&N filter) and cleaning the MAF sensor with the special MAF sensor cleaner spray to service the entire air induction system properly. Very good video except the gasket should have been replaced thanks for the help 👍
If you are replacing the entire throttle body assembly you can get a Jegs power flo fluted Big bore throttle body and they sell spacers with longer mounting bolts on ebay which also has fluted cutouts in the bore. Ya may as well hook it up with top of the line stuff if ur going to replace it all anyway that's what I would like to get lol
somebody could tell me if there's a problem if i clean the Throttle Body i do not really know if it gets deprogrammed i have read lots of comments about it, Ive got a ford fusion 2012
Se debe desconectar la batería primero ya que pongas todo de regreso lo conectas, pones tu llave en ac pero no enciendas y lentamente vas presionando hace abajo el celador que dure como 10 segundos y de igual manera vas soltando lo de igual de lento. Lo sacas correr en velocidad moderada approx 30 a 40 minutos y listo.
No need to disconnect your battery- only if you have a check engine light on and go ahead and disconnect your negative black terminal for 1-2 minutes and connect back on (related to your repairs). Best of luck.

@@RookieRepairs Managed to get it off but broke the harness clip trying to disconnect it from the throttle lol. Will it disconnect? Electric tape okay?

Is there no Re-Learn process post cleaning? I have read about this but not sure if I need a reprogrammer or if the system will relearn itself?
Ford fusion relearn processes take anywhere from 30 minutes to 30 days.

I don't know why some cars after cleaning the throttle body you need to reprogram and some of it no ..

I used a tooth brush and CRC Throttle Body Cleaner - which you can buy at any autoparts-AutoZone or Oreilly.
