I've seen a lot of people who *think* they can drive like that. It's pretty darned cool to see someone who pulls it off without breaking anyone's neck!
Now that put a smile on my face! I was trying to shift the dayum gears... LOL!
I'd pay admission to see that beast run...

Thanks for the great comments!!! I am just sorting out the drifting thing on pavement. We built the truck for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and we are now trying to sort the brakes and chassis to make it more drift friendly. 4 360's in a 10,000 pound truck might not be doable but maybe I will try one in the next video. For fairness, Ken should come to Pikes Peak. in 2006, 21 rally cars from the least to the best competed, if we had been in their class, our time would have put us in 7th.

I guess a sport like this had to happen eventually. Truck racing in Europe has been around since the early 80s. That's prime movers, not F-100s and Dodge RAMs. Great to watch, and just as much fun for the drivers.

The song is "Gear Jammer" by Chad Reisser as credited but I can't find any references anywhere else. It's great song for this video, but borrows heavily from Steve Earle (several phrases from his song Copperhead Road), the Eagles (those nice bassy thunks) and of course ZZ-Top in the style of playin'. Even with the borrowed riffs its a fun song.
