O man this is crazy we're working on this song in my guitar class at school! Thanks for the help!
I have recently returned to the study of classical guitar after close to a forty year hiatus. From the ages of 8 to 12 or 13, I played religiously, capable of reading music and playing at quite a high level. For a number of reasons I quit altogether...it is only now , in my early 50s that I have found myself drawn back to the study...I must say , I enjoyed your lesson immensely...I am familiar with this piece by Beethoven and have always enjoyed hearing it recited by a good pianist...I am not familiar with reading tabs . Despite this, I found your teaching to be concise enough for me to pick up the piece with little trouble. I thank you for your efforts and look forward to seeing what else you have to offer on your channel...you have one new subscriber so keep up your fine efforts Drue.......from Drew with an ew in Canada
+Arrested Images Photography and Design Drew, guitar welcomes you back with open arms. When you get bitten by the music bug it will always draw you back in. Thanks for your kind words. Stay inspired and keep on playing. All the best, Drue.

wow!!!!!!!!
Sounds great on my Yamaha G-231 and my Ibanez GA35. here's the actual TAB tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/100626. The TAB Drue included is for the actual version that starts on the 12th fret, the link I included is for the version in the video. Edit: I've known this on piano forever; it's very fun to play on guitar. The whole "easy version" took me two days. The key is to start extremely slow and know exactly what each finger is doing. Practice in segments and then practice putting those segments together. Then, speed will come quickly, and it sounds enchanting. I've been playing for anumber of years, so if it takes you a while don't be discouraged. Also, since this is in A minor I found it fun the experiment with the A minor and A harmonic minor and A blues scales to add some improv while I'm playing it, kinda like Ralph Macchio does in 'Crossroad', lol. Busting out für Elise and then subtlely shifting to some funky blues improv has brought a smile to a few of my listeners ears so far :) It's also fun the throw in some syncopation at certain parts and to vary the speed and the repetitive opening two notes, and even playing them for an extra half bar or so. Fun little tune to experiment with. Also, I recommend leaving the pinky finger on the A string and letting it ring out until you play the partial chord that requires the open A string.
hello there !!
awesome video !! ✌
can you make an tutorial for bink sake guitar tabs from one piece anime .
thank you
Great tutorial! Instead of using both b & e strings on the alternating e flat/e (i.e. 1st & 2nd bar), I use just the b string at 4th and 5th frets. To me it sounds better even when I tuned to perfection. It doesn't require any more effort and same notes. Where I run into trouble is around the 45th bar of entire song. I got my tab from Ultimate Guitar a while back. It's a beautiful song, but some parts a very difficult for me as my fingers can't contort for some positions. Do you have a tutorial for Moonlight Sonata?
So helpful thank you!!!
I had to check the playback speed lmaoo. Loved the tutorial!!
Hey , uhmm .. Do you have a guitar lesson of River Flows in you by Yiruma ?
can you do wellerman pleasee
Bro in your next video please do provide guitar tab along woth your guitr lesson video
I am not good at english but i can do it !!
Thanksssss
***** Thanks for the suggestion Jared. This has been requested before.
great work bravo thank you
Hey Drue,
somehow the tabs that you linked are not the tabs that you play. (you start on the 4th fret and the tabs are only around the 12th fret)
Josh Snow Everything starts over on the 12th fret. 12 is interchangeable with 0 or open. i.e. 13th fret = fret 1 - 15th = 3rd etc
what happened to your finger
I heard he had a fight with a lion at a zoo, though others claim he took an arrow to the knee...
Yes a do
Please make a tutorial for Silence of Beethoven

ِDrue james thanks a lot
please can you make a tutorial of moonlight sonata
the way you explained this made it way harder than it was supposed to be since i had to watch it more than 6 times to finally understand what you were playing, im giving up on this video
I would love to try this but the links to the TABs don't work for this or the intro. :-(
I woke up to this song on my alarm clock for school for 10 years
15:59
Super, I am Tamilnadu, India.
Could you show us the tab changes on the tab sheet ?
So close to 100 likes
Can you play this on the Spanish guitar?
I feel like my little finger is too short! when I do the a minor and put it on the a string I have to put my other fingers in a strange way that's not very good xDD idk how to describe
You can try to get used to your fingers stretching far away like this: You positiom your fingers on the E chord (but the Index finger on the 2nd string, not 3rd) and just stretch out you pinky to the 4th fret on the G string...and just strum down from the A string to the B.
This helped me a lot I hope it helps you too 😄
You could also play, 5,4,5,4,5,0,3,1,0 then go to Am, E ec...
Oh, no you did not!!! U got one more subscriber. Keep the classic music coming!!
