Oh man. Been here since the first and I’m so happy for you. I can totally see you and your boy developing that relationship that you had with your dad. I know how important that was to you. Fun to watch!
Love diver hunting! Your setup looked good. One thing I’ve found is no matter what you try to do with the spread, they will almost always land on the outside of it. Looks like you were experiencing much the same. We like to bunch the decoys quite close together to make it look like a raft, but never have the outside over 30-35 yards away from your position. That’s where they will end up. We are pretty spoiled here in lake st clair. Bluebills, redheads and canvasback: nothing better than a flock of cans with landing gear down!
Most of my hunting is for divers here in MN. That point you hunted is a wonderful diver spot. You set it up perfect for geese and puddlers. Might want to add a dozen diver decoys with long lines instead of Texas rigs. Run them in a long line perpendicular to shore as deep as you want. Great video.
I don't think it matters for divers, but I noticed all your goose floaters are facing the same way. I've always heard to alternate your anchor connections, half in back and half in front.
Since when I click on the “contact email us” link and “#” shows up in the recipient portion of the email and I don’t have instagram I can only leave my request for help here. Not sure where all my info went from the North American waterfowl app. I tried clicking on customer portal and nothing happens??? Any help would be appreciated.

Haha I never thought I'd see the day Elliot turned into a diver hunting convert! Loved the hunt and setup!
Big groups of divers are really fun!

Got to love a ringer roundup. Great video Elliot! I definitely think adding some more black/white contrast to the spread helps when targeting divers.
You’re gonna have to start calling Elijah “The Assassin”. Carl retires, and Eli picks up the slack!
@@JackJack_of_all_trades haha, indeed. Baby assassin?
@ maybe assassin Jr
When I shoot ring necks, I wish they were hen mallards too 😂, great hunt!🇨🇦

Awesome video great footage and Ringnecks are delicious for eating
That's why it's called duck hunting not mallard hunting.
In Florida Ringnecks is about 75% of your limits.
Love this kind of content.
