Well, that changes everything. It's a whole other game with story quests from what I've seen. That doesn't mean it's any good, but I think it is. I wish it becomes available in The West on PC :D

@@piotrlesniak7755 i've been playing the game for weeks. while the art style and UI may look familiar, overall, the gameplay is very different. FSO is a gatcha game. you can't breed dwellers anymore, you have to draw them from lunchboxes.
now i know gatcha games are often bad, but there's surprisingly a lot of things to do outside of just drawing dwellers. it's a story-driven game with a bigger focus on exploration outside of the vault, and majority of the game takes place outside of the vault. it's almost like a loose retelling of Fallout 4 in mobile form. there's also a PVP system, but it's not live PVP. you assemble a team of dwellers which you equip armor and such and level up their individual skills, etc, and your characters will be AI controlled against other player's teams
it's fun. but at the end of the day, it's gatcha and there's always a p2w element no matter how you cut it. still, i've personally never had the urge to spend irl money on it so i think it's ok for me so far
When this game came out I sent a message on Playstore to the developers, as I remember, that they should add a multiplayer mode, years later they make another game instead of just add a multiplayer mode, well

WHAT IS THIS SORCERY.
Now, turning serious, I think it’s because the Shells are stored at the bottom of the barrel and the Fallout Universe is something similar to Reality but with big differences, so that rifle could be a double barrel with magazine for better ammo efficiency.
This is just my opinion, feel free to correct me of I’m wrong.

@@_atmeal This is much more extreme. People have been paying to get more and more SSR rank heroes like Lorenzo Cabot, Danse and Desdemona. There were people spending more than $100 without a single SSR rank heroes. The greed in this game is real.
But this is also one of the gatcha based games that you can play without spending a single coin. Even the best tank in the game is only an SR rank heroes (Cait) and best healer is also SR rank (Madison Li). Both can be gotten for free if you are willing to invest your time farming for them (Cait in Memory Den and Madison Li in the Glowing Sea).
Now I remember the glitch in the original Fallout Shelter, where you can just increase your time and get as much lunchboxes you want. Wonder if there's still one here?
I dupped Fallout Shelter with unlimited lunchboxes and Nuka Quantums 🤷🏻♂️

There was no point in making another game since fallout shelter was already good, now it's just has online now
It's an almost completely different game though. And money hungry game at that. It has a set of quest line about chasing after your Overseer out in the wasteland. The battle mechanics is pretty simple but it is the pre-battle thing that is a bit complex.
You need to level up your heroes with food. You need to level up their perks with water. You also need lots of stuffs found in the wasteland to level up your heroes equipment aka weapons. Not to mention farming for attachments (clothes I think). This all becomes extremely costly after your heroes reach level 40.
What I can see from this game (comparing to another similar gatcha like system) is the lack of need to change my heroes line-up.
I have Desdemona, Danse, Lorenzo Cabot, Cait and Madison Li in my team right now. Apart from Lorenzo Cabot.. all of the other heroes are basically the best in their field already. So there is not much variety in terms of the need to change my attacking force.
Unlike, for example Empires and Puzzles. Where if I am facing a Blue tank, I will need to change my team's line-up to ones that can counter blue (which would be green). Hence I will be needing a lot more heroes.
Because of this I have already stopped spending in Fallout Shelter Online. Why? Danse is literally the best in one-hit KO department. Desdemona is a self-healing demon who can attack all. Cait is only an SR rank (the best is SSR) but she is a tank that can stop other people's attack for 8 second.. I can't think of any other tank in the game that can do better than her even at SSR rank. And Madison Li is the only healer in the game that can remove rads for all. Only Lorenzo here is often changes position with Sarah. I bring Lorenzo against other players and Sarah in incident / event.
3 SSR and 2 SR. Already the best line up I guess? So why need to spend more. Like I said, this game lacks the needing motivation to change heroes. Preston? He is a joke. I don't even want to draw him.
Short version: Fallout shellter doesnt have more enemies (only 4 types: gouls, scorpions deathclaws and raiders). Shellter online could be better with his long crew of enemies but, like everything on Bethesda, they need to do more trying to do something not buggy...
This game as well as the other bethesda games are such a disgrace to the franchise. Nothing about this is fallout. Not even a glimmer of the atmosphere and tone that made the originals so great.

Description:
A double barrel. Making it a sawn off turns it into a reliable sidearm, or you could just use it like you would a rifle. Don’t know what kind of engineering makes it some sort of pump-action, but this is the wasteland, where you could kill a legendary bloatfly, have one of it’s body parts land next to you, and grab an entire nuke launcher from that one piece. It’s a good weapon, nevertheless.

fso is indeed a good game. ssr cards are literally the best (aside from 5-medal zeke and 5-medal cait) and pretty easy to gather ssr cards.
even at the verge of being one of the strongest vaults quests will never go out.

I'm excited for this game to be released worldwide but the building time? As soon as I saw that we have certain builders I groaned because the thing I like about fallout shelter so much is the absence of build time and now that they add it I feel like it'll be a huge detriment to my game experience
It's pretty obvious that they've designed the game as the wretched and terrible typical mobile game that everyone hates. So, of course they're gonna intentionally add artifical time wasting mechanisms so you're forced to use your real money to speed everything up.

I’ve had a running vault in fallout shelter for years, now. This whole concept of Fallout Shelter online is surprising, new, interesting, and also confusing to me. I didn’t exactly expect it to become this, but, well, here it is.
I admit that the new animations, mechanics, and general graphics look way more polished, but it feels too much like the exact same formula of an online mobile game that’s been done to death by countless other games already. It kinda lacks the charm of the original Fallout Shelter, even if the original was in of itself already an unoriginal formula. If they had just carried over the animation upgrades, the dweller special ability mechanic, and fixed a lot of the bugs, I guess I’d be more satisfied. But that’s more of a personal preference. If other people like the game, I certainly don’t blame them, it looks really good.
Yeah I completely agree, what fallout shelter satisfied me with was its simplicity and the fact it was fallout so power armour existed in game. I'm probably right in guessing monetization will keep my favourite items behind a pay wall now...

I’m highly confused lol it doesn’t look like an online game lol I was thinking more of being able to join a friends quest and visit their vaults and help out or have a coalition of vaults or maybe even like faction styles where you have institute or minutemen or bos or etc etc and quest lines that revolve around that. Maybe have some faction only events where the player created faction gangs compete and then lore friendly faction v faction competitions etc

this is my first time really ever seeing anything about this game in greater detail, it looks good and better than fallout shelter on it's own.
my only gripe really, and i'm no expert. but it's the writing, and even then, it makes sense because the game isn't an english native game , but it is a little saddening that the writing isn't the best

Now that I think about it, the reason it was probably put online is because it was so easy to cheese the game by time skipping or just straight up cheating by using a save editor. Now that you're forced to play with the snails pace progression system the microtransactions will become ever more enticing...
