Transitional Respite Care for the Homeless Program, Spokane, Washington

After treatment at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, patients experiencing homelessness were not able to heal properly. That’s when a nurse at Providence Sacred Heart partnered with House of Charity, operated by Catholic Charities, to develop a program to serve these vulnerable men and women.
