what would i need to change the transmission from auto to manual on a 306D2 M57 engine of 2004 or 2005?
would the gs6x-e53 manual gearbox be a seamless fit to the engine?
So the ONLY thing supporting the trans/engine at 11:00 is the engine mounts?

But I want to ask why did you fit clutch disc with springs if the oringal one did not have those springs. And the clutch looks like it's for e60 530d I know the same engine. I'm asking because I'm doing clutch on my x5 6 speed and I have two of those clutches and want to know if maybe with springs will be better for pulling trailer like you do?
Yes its same clutch as e60 530d
Not sure if with springs better or not ,but I don’t feel any difference tho..so both work as good

I have on this x5 broken front diff and I cant find any where and it is 3.23 ratio and now will be big different if will fit from 4.4 3.64 diff? I have one.
