This was an exact replacement for the old one that lasted about 10 years. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx7yWIKcrbA9KMHkGSfcgxW2lsjHT6B8Sh The top of my mitigation tube by my roofline was just a 90 elbow which allowed too much debris to fall down into the fan, eventually ruining it. Without this issue, I bet it would have kept running another 10 years. When I replaced this fan, I added an extra elbow joint so the top tube now it does a 180, which should solve that problem. The radon guys around here wanted to charge me a $300 diagnostic fee, then parts/labor (probably close to $600 total). I installed this all by myself in about an hour for the cost of the fan; it would probably be even easier/faster with two people. FYI the manufacturer's warranty greatly differs depending on whether you install it yourself (1 yr warranty) or have a licensed installer do it (10 yrs).

David, i did the course back in march. Best course ive done for plumbing, rob was our trainer and his knowledge and teaching was outstanding. At the end of the 3 days theres 8-10 boilers all with real faults on them and you use what you’ve learned to diagnose the fault. All ready using the stuff we got taught in the real world :)
How far is that from The Bronx
Replaced all those parts including fan, turbine flow and checked gas flow at gas meter. Still only getting lukewarm water on max hot water setting. CH is working fine and no fault codes.
So basicaly away you go! 😉
Just had mine fixed by Ideal. The boiler burner was only running at a 1/3. Burner replaced, and we got hot water again.
1:44 that is exactly my boiler, but I live in a council house and they won't dare replace anything. It gives hot water... eventually and you only get about 5 minutes of it, but to them it works
lol, typical council. My Mum's shower dribbles out, but they say it's gravity fed so deal with it.
I have an issue where the temperature of the hot water coming out of the sink and basins increases when central heating is turned on. Anyone else had this issue? or know where the problem could be?

Mine has hot water no heating. The heating light is not on. It used to work well. After the technician replace the mother board or electronic board, then it is not working for the heating. We did not check , now heard the company closed business, people are replace it with other brand. I cannot find a baxi technician so far.
So you basically change everything and THA WOY YOU GO!

sir I have a question, this aqua signal ignites the gas boiler but is it a continous signal or just a one time ? the reason i am asking this is , i am doing a project and i have connected a electric heater to heat water but i dont want to run both heaters at same time and want to save my gas money so i figured if i just block this aqua signal , i can stop gas boiler from igniting ! so please if you reply it will be a huge help ! thanks in advance!!

Hi rob the hot water light doesn’t light up if I have the heating on I get hot water but only enough to fill half of a washing up bowl then it goes cold
I have a Baxi Duo Tec2 boiler, why do I have to turn on 2 separate taps on until the boiler fires up to get any hot water?
Hi - I'm getting brown water from my hot water tap. When I run a bath I run the hot water for a while, then turn on the cold, leaving the hot running and when I turn the cold off the hot water starts to run brown. Recently had a new heat exchanger fitted to my Viessman combi boiler. Could the problem be with the boiler, the radiators - or is it down to water supply. Thanks.

We have an old baxi boiler ( similar to one in the video ) heats water and radiators , but water only mode doesn’t work ( we don’t have a knob for water ) can this be installed without a boiler replacement, so we can heat the water separately?

Great content; a shame Rob talks too fast and it's difficult to absorb all that he's saying. No teacher or lecturer would talk that fast. However we must be grateful for his efforts.

Replace ? your showing a baxi 105 what about just strip and clean the valve pin 99 times out of a hundred its a bit of gunge on the pin stopping proper travel a 30 minute repair with just a bit of grease required . And plates are very easily cleaned in around 20 minutes to

The two things that everyone on here are talking about which is not my problem. Its taken numerous engineers and years to get it sorted, its low gas pressure at peak time we can not get hot water due to low gas pressure, too many people using the gas!!
My radiators go cold when hot is open and start getting hot when hot water is tap is off Need help please 🤔
Sounds like the diverter valve based on what hes saying - but it also sounds normal...
The Diverter Valve DIVERTS the hot water to either Centrla Heating or Hot Water Taps - and this depends on demand.
If you turn your taps on your demanding Hot Water
If your Taps are off then your demanding it go to your Central heating.
I don't THINK it can split the difference and do both at the same time...
But honestly I have no idea, im here cause my Hot Water doesn't work but my central heating does...
So i think Diverter Valve is popped on mine as well

My hot water runs really slow but my boiler is brand new how do I fix it
I get banging noises from the boiler. The radiators are working fine however the bath water runs hot initially then turns luke warm. What needs changing? Thanks
Most likely the diverter valve, is your boiler over 10 years old? Usually this is the case.
Your hands is touching a different boiler

Don't forget partially blocked flu or burner or away you'll go wasting hours barking up wrong tree
