Today we had the pleasure of having Greg stop by from Modern Garage. He helped me find some motivation and we got some work done. Here we show you how we added a clutch pedal to an automatic honda prelude 5th gen as we get ready to convert it to a manual transmission car (Stick shift). We also show you how to either replace or install a master cylinder.

Thanks a lot for this detailed video. I‘m about to do the same to my prelude and you just assured me that i am planning the right steps. Having a lot less space since I won‘t be removing any interior but hoping it will go just as smooth.

Awesome video man keep up the great work! just wanting to comment and let you know that the clutch pedals for a 5th gen have a bolt that goes up into the wiper assembly area. You can see the hole for the bolt is above the neutral safety switch and it helps with preventing the firewall to flex when you push the clutch.
Awesome! I hate messing with what pedal, it's such a pain. I literally just got the interior all put back in my Prelude tonight. It's been so long I need to detail it because everything's all dusty and nasty!

Aside from the awkward working position, this did not look as hard as it sounds. there is still some plumbing to do among other things but not as intimidating as I thought
