Looking back, Christian was a pretty interesting character. He was mean and pretty cold, but he wasn't a narcissist or sociopath; he was just a very flawed person who was aware of, and troubled by, those flaws. The fact that Jack had absolutely zero trouble believing he'd slept with Sarah is probably was probably what broke him; it made him realize how completely irreparable he'd made his relationship with his son (a son who he looked up to and considered a better man than himself, as he explained to Sawyer while they drank together in Australia).
Christian was far from perfect and it did cause Jack some damage but damn, I felt bad for him in this scene. 50 days sober was definitely an achievement and he was really trying… I think after this he started drinking again and then died in Australia. Also it’s very sad that Jack was turning into his dad.
Jack’s dad was a jerkass, but this was a bad scene, as far as Jack goes. If he was actually on the wagon and working it in the rooms, he shoulda been encouraged. I know in the narrative of the show that this was the instigating factor for his final bender, but I’d assume that after such a dramatic scene that he’d been supported by a ton of his sobriety mates swooping in to help him out after something so apparently threatening to his sobriety.
jack is the best but to be honest this scene makes everything clear about jack has issues with his wifes / girlfriend. he always thinks they cheated on him.
@robby104 In my opinion Christian diserved all of it I mean he was a horrible dad throughout jacks WHOLE LIFE! Also christian has performed under the influence many other times that is why jack told on him it is the right thing to do even if you are family
Wait was his dad having an affair with his wife....it made it seem like Jack was just a paranoid weirdo as much as I love the dude but at same time it was still sort of no revealed and on the table.......
Nah, they were only friends, Jack's wife was seeing another man, but we never learned who that man was because it didn't matter at all. It only mattered to Jack because he was obsessed and almost crazy at this point.
No, he was not. I dont remember exactly why she was calling him, but I think it's cause she was worried about Jack, they broke up and he was getting pretty much insane...
AZORES he drove his father to drink again, which lead to his father operating under the influence, getting fired, and ultimately committing suicide. All because Jack thought his whore wife was banging his dad. Truly pathetic
@@fallengod8950 Locke and Richard..Sawyer was good too. To me Jack was just an unlikable guy, I know his stubborn ass ways and unable to see any other view but his own was written for him but it made me hate seeing him on screen I truly hated him especially when he busted in his dads 12-Step meeting.
Because he saved the guys? İs it because he did not do what his father say and fight for his friend in his childhood? Because among many people he saved boone, clair, james and others in so many times? Ofcourse everybody in the show was not ideal but jack was the best and thats why he was candidate.. because he was a leader
Jack's daddy issues was one of the best things on the series. ..among many others.

well with narcisst yall learned some nice words thinking you might be on a doctors level analyzing a show 😂😂
I love this explanation !
Jack and his father were one of the best things in the whole series
Lost is the best mysterious tv series ever.
I find this scene unintentionally hilarious
Exactly
i think its because Jack's faces lmao
"this is not the place for this"
In literally the best place for this
"Jack, please just let it go!"
"I HATE FROZEN!" *tackles him*
I don’t really know why but I find this scene hilarious
This scene is inadvertently hilarious 😂
Like the super aggressive and antagonistic AA leader lol
lmao yes

son never had it not like the old man haha
Previously on Lost, “YOU DONT HAVE WHAT IT TAKES JACK!”

locke's dad was far worse.
he paralyzed him
he stole his kidney and threw him out a window which paralyzed him
@@adammilette3076 omg !
@@terrykennedy776 Yeah Jack's dad was the best dad as dads go on lost.
They never really told who his wife cheated with
pnut3844able she didn’t cheat. They broke up.
She had been seeing someone else. We never meet him.
She was calling Christian to help Jack since he was losing it over the divorce.
We do see him once, just some guy really
@@beckyone2 she was cheating but not with his father..
It would be the cherry on top to discover it was Sawyer.

This was the moment Jack killed his father. Not only was jack an asshole, in love with whores, but he was also a murderer. He's no hero in my book.
Mike Wallis killed his father? I mean... How??

Jack is easily my most hated TV characters
Wow, u might as well hate Rick, Walter white, Jesse, Michael Scofield, etc.. Who's ur best character in lost anyway? Just 4 the record.

Interesting. I mean I thought everybody liked Jack. I first liked Locke the most (as a teenager) but now (15 years later) I find him exasperating.
Nobody cares, clown
