@@rodrikforrester9343 not only that, he has a lot of empathy. don't forget, how he was destroyed when Boone died. he was probably destroyed inside like Boone was. Jack is mostly tearyeyed through the whole show.
And that, my friends is how Julie Bowen got a gig on ABC for 11 seasons as “Claire Dunphy” - it took a couple of years, but ABC obviously fell in love with her performance here… and rightfully so!
I have no idea how likely this is or if it would be a genuine miracle. But I can't imagine the elation ANYBODY would feel to be worried about paralysis from the waist down, only to find that's no longer the case and walking is a certainty. God, that overwhelming feeling must be transcendent
And this is before all steaming services made it impossible for any network to have a great series. All the more reason why we should appreciate ABC for having such a phenomenon. It’s pretty much impossible for something like this to ever exist again 😢
Because Jack was a great doctor but a bad husband. He was a workaholic with a obsessive messiah complex and daddy issues. Sarah was alone all the time. Jack was always being called to work. Making sarah feel 2nd best. She thought his obsessive need to fix everything was unique for her case, that she and Jack had something extra special. But it turns out he’s like that with all his patients after Sarah too. Sarah would be been lonely and miserable if she stayed with Jack. Sure she saved her life and repaired her spine, but I’m sure the hospital gave her insurance company a bill and Jack got a paycheck that month. She didn’t owe Jack anything and was a nice wife for the little we saw of her. If anything jack loved Sarah because she was the embodiment of his skills and accomplishments as a Neuro-Surgeon. A constant reminder that he did have what it takes.
Yeah but you marry a doctor you have to accept the long hours and work around it. It's presented to you like that from day one. Either that or you don't marry them. Jack was hurting and kissed someone for comfort. Shocker.
I believe she said that she knew his purpose in life was to fix things, and his duties as a surgeon would always be more important than their marriage.
Considering the fact that she took a pregnancy test with Jack and than wound up getting pregnant after changing husband's means it was because she wanted children and he didn't.
At least she moved on from Jack, married a Realtor, and had three beautiful children... such a Modern Family...
Bahahahahahahahahahahahaha mrs.dunphy!!!!
Literally the best Internet comment I've come across. I salute you, good sir!
“He’s a Realtor not real estate agent. It’s different somehow” 😂
Lol I’ve been saying that for years
I was just thinking the same thing!!
Wow.....imagine your doctor getting so emotional and teary eyed. Jack is the sweetest.
Well it's actually quite incredible (and borderline impossible) to do what Jack did, so I think a breach in standard medical decorum is warranted.
he was tearyeyed because he is inexperienced

@@rodrikforrester9343 no I think it was showing how invested he gets in his patients, that’s why he was there waiting for her to wake up.
the real reason behind this is that matthew fox is the best crying actor of all time, this man has the perfect
holding back tears but can’t
LOST is a masterpiece !
Can other shows create such emotions? such EPICNESS ?!
Rotolo um modern family

Dayum... I need a rewatch, like right now!
You can rewatch it a million times, but it's always a wonderful experience no matter what.
“How come I can move my hammer toes?” 🤣
She never thought to ask why he thought he failed
Jack and his insecurities love him
Wow I love this scene.. SO emotional!
First episode of season 2 teasing us one of the final scene of the show with Locke

Great scene - especially after he had promised her earlier he would make her walk again. Lost was always so good at subverting expectation.

I never knew she was on the show until I saw it in Google. Lol. I never really watched it like that.
And this is how/why ABC gave her the role on “Modern Family”
I still cannot find a good excuse why she cheated on Jack.
Jack’s an emotionally distant control freak. He also cheated on her himself. Also has drinking problems and daddy issues.
And the Emmy goes to,
And she cheated the man who saved her
He operated Sarah , saved her life and then got married, but why did sarah leave him?
Because Jack was a great doctor but a bad husband.

Ah this is a sad beautiful secense and I like how this girl and girl have a moment before she dies in this scene love it
Stephanie Harrigle she died?

Saving her was a mistake...
world is creepy.
No. People are flawed, but fixing someone is good in the long run. It just so happens it takes time for some to adjust
Everything happened for a reason so that he could end up on that island.
Omg no way is that Claire ! No wonder I thought I knew her before
She really got fixed by him, then married the rich surgeon, then left him because he lives to fix people........... Women☕
How did they make him look so much younger?
It's the hair lol
Did they ever say why she divorced Jack?
She cheated on him

We've to go back

The hair is horrible on him😂
