Yea.... about that mob... you owe me for the catering and port-o-pottys. On a completely unrelated note... Last week I had my first experience with a modern mig welder and thanks to your videos it all went very well, for a beginner. I followed your teachings by first tossing every tool I own on the floor and mixing them toughly with the garbage. I had my doubts but I got excellent results. Cheers from the Shed
It's nice to know that you've actually been paying attention this whole time. Most people overlook that critical step and are never able to successfully Mig weld.
"Self tappers, grinder, seam sealer - throw some bonds over it.." you just described 90% of the "restoration" work I've seen lately.. Great job on those rockers and floor sections. I've been enjoying this series a lot! Thanks!
I agree. Even some people showing others how to f uckup .And it makes things much more difficult to repair correctly. Thankfully restyling is awesome 👌
I remember replacing rusted out body metal using sheet metal screws and new metal then covering the inside with tar. That was before we could afford a oxy acetylene torch. MIG welders were just a dream back then.
I'm glad to hear that you and Shed by the tracks have come to an understanding. I may have given him a piece of my mind, if I did it was more likely than not, something backing your point of view. Just doing what I can to promote world peace.
"Do your best and fill the rest". I need to install a patch panel on my Ranger pick up over the rear wheel well. There's only 2 things keeping me from fixing it, 1.) It's been too hot to work outside, and 2.) I'm lazy. Your video has inspired me, so I need to do something else to get over that feeling. Carry on.
Another great video. You are doing a great job on the truck. You make these repairs look easy even though they take a lot of skill. To quote Forrest Gump; "Do your best and fill the rest, That's all I have to say about that".

That was some mad welding skills there. I liked your tips as they were thorough and made sense. The crazy humor helps out a lot. Glad you and Shed by the Tracks buried the hatchet in the ground and not in your heads.
You did what you knew how at the time when there was no UA-cam. Me and a friend had a body shop right out of high school. We were just young kid's 18, 19 year's old putting car's back together the way we knew how no training. At the end of the work the owner's were happy. Until we got older and more experienced then we started to put car's back together the right way replacing metal.

I like the old chevys like other folks so do. Until then Kyle, have a wonderful many days ahead
Great work and video young man. I agree with you on the bondo boys. I call it dog shit, because when I repair cars that need welding to pass a ministry safety test here in the UK, bondo/dog shit/filler is a pain in the backside! If you care to get the fit up good, you don't need much filler if any. Keep up the good work young man and all the best for 2024!
I'm not surprised that the so-called professional body guy let you down: he's a charlatan and I was warned about him by the expert with the channel called Shed by the Tracks. Apparently he bought a radiator from the rogue and it was garbage, but they managed to reach an agreement. I think that it involved the so-called professional having to have his hair shaved off. Best wishes.

Don't understand why this channel is not more popular. It ticks all the UA-cam boxes: cats, drama, welding and grinding, sarcasm, ...

You shall gain a lot of notoriety over the coming years because of this talent and the many who enjoy doing it. Just go to any car show and see how many different kinds of automobiles are being saved. I am going to keep the promise and shall comment on more of these fine videos as they come out. I like the old chevys like other folks so do. Until then Kyle, have a wonderful many days ahead
You can address me by however you like, it don't bother me either way!
Tractor Gnome is the real enemy? Say it isn't so, Kyle! Hmmm...he does look pretty sketchy when I think about it.
I'm afraid it's true!
Thank's for inviting me to the welding party, but where did my six-pack of O'Keefe's Extra Old Stock go??
Not sure, I'll ask around

Thanks Joe!
Do your best and fill the rest! ❤
It is looking awesome. Thank you.
......Love the yellow car, but I would have painted the wheels a nice dark shade of brown.
That’s an incredible toupee you’ve got there, Kyle.
Thanks!
Yeah I wish someone would have warned me about him sooner!
Excellent work
Thanks!
