Has anyone tried writing an SCP-582 story about it manifesting and killing 682? It wouldn't work, somehow, but I wanna see what would happen.

I always loved stories of tulpas which become real the more it overlaps with people's imaginations and the stronger they believe it to be true. It may be a creature of indeterminate appearance and be no more than a ghost. When enough people believe it to be so, it can more fully manifest and feed into people's beliefs that it is real. Defeating a tulpa is difficult because you have to shatter the image that multiple people hold in their minds, otherwise it continues to manifest over and over again. The idea of Slenderman being a tulpa makes for a very fun story.
Dr. Bright: I have a great idea! If a reality bending SCP manages to hear of the Slenderman, the reality bender could create a Slenderman being. Now, all I need to do is...

Why they haven't tried using this for SCP cross-testing is beyond me. They could attempt to use it to neutralize dangerous SCPs, like 106, 096, or maybe even 682

Slender has no eyes and I want to say it's cannon at least on this channel that SCP 035 has been in the presence of SCP 096 and had it not trigger his rage state. The scenario where the plague Dr and him fought didn't make sense because in scp 001 when day breaks when the Dr looked at him he didn't rage and when he touched him he went to sleep.

To be honest SCP-582 shares many similarities with Slenderman. Alot of people always think that SCP-582 is Slenderman but ain't actually the case. However SCP-582 can be a manifestation of Slenderman. But in other words 582 is a very interesting SCP.

We also have SCP-3640 trying to kill people with cartoon characters and SCP-3143 warps reality to suit its narrative. So plenty of times, there are even dimensions that ended due to SCP-6000 transforming them into narratives.

SCP-582 is a small eight month old tabby kitten that is four inches tall. It acts and behaves like any normal cat of its age and size, but it never grows. This cat has no claws. It loves snuggles but will always do what it is told if the instructions include the word please. It is very soft and nice to everyone

This entity is whatever we say it is and if the story has been around that long then it must be a very complex and interesting individual.
SCP-582 has broken free from containment and has taken over not just the world but the entire known multiverse as well, with me as it's right-hand. SCP-582 is a fourth-dimensional creature that takes the form of The Great Old One, Cthulhu, and is far more powerful and dangerous than even SCP-001, The Scarlet King; there is nothing you can do to stop it's glorious reign, submit and give yourself to it, there is no other choice. Not even rewriting this entry can stop it, there is no hope.
