You know, I like this, the D-class actually getting a chance to "actually" redeem themselves and somewhat, willing work with the foundation, you got to think that there are at least some D-class that actually regret what they have done and maybe do deserve a second chance at a life, instead of just being sent straight to 682 just so some researcher can time how long it takes the big lizard to chew something before swallowing.
This also implies however that there are likely many D class that are not in fact criminals. That they are or were normal individuals that happened to catch the eye of the foundation. And thus were taken, and altered mentally so that they would believe themselves to be something that they are not. Criminals.

I heard a rumor that the foundation uses scp-158 to keep the red right hand alive by extracting the souls of wounded operatives and placing them into a healthy D class.

@@deadlystalker7483 158 is a vlaw that can rip the soul out of a living creature and turns it into a liquid, that liquid can then be put into another living creature that has had its sound removed allowing said creature to have the memories and skills. So a red right hand member who is about to die could escape death by jumping bodies.

There is such a thing as best of a bad bunch. That said seems like mtf units have rather high casualty and attrition rates so perhaps the bar must be raised or lowered depending on the current circumstances. Of course the bar needs to have very little wiggle room to keep the unit effective but still
i mean, to be fair, if i worked somewhere as hazardous as the foundation, i wouldn't learn the faces of my low level coworkers either. and the cultists took advantage of that by implanting look alikes inside to mount a sneak attack(which is where the MTF members got slaughtered) and a sneak attack outside giving the element of suprise

A D-class, the second lowest rank in the Foundation became the Foundation's right hand... I feel like D-Classes are getting more chance to be an Alpha-1 than any other combatives

@@geteer18 class e aren’t actually the lowest rank they’re just biohazardous and dangerous usually not a permanent position, many of them are ex foundation personnel too. class d are the actual lowest because they come from rock bottom

Most Alpha-1 members are ex-special operatives or people with that training. So I wonder what made this D-Class so special that it peaked Alpha-1’s radar.
they gave him an hallucinogen that allowed him to know everything he needed to know, there is not really much into it. + no one would really know a d-class so their identities are already somewhat hidden.

I believe each individual 0-5 member has their own sub division of alpha 1 specified to their needs and modified to fit their “abilities” some of them obviously have, each member of the council recruits differently.

They can't. Ironically enough for directly inverse reasons to why there is no Orion's Arm Project movie. They cannot hold the rights to it. Everything done using SCP material has to be copyright-free, and execs just aren't down for that.
