- A quick overview and demonstration of the Lift Mate (tyre lift assist) accessory for use with a high lift (Hi Lift) jack.
The Hi-Lift Jack is a very useful 4x4 off-road recovery and multi-purpose tool. It can be useful in situations where a 4wd vehicle may have to be: winched, lifted, turned around on a tight track etc. It can also be used a multi-purpose tool for: spreading, clamping, reseting a bead on a vehicle's tyre, using the removable pole/handle as an extension pole for extra leverage on a wrench or ring spanner etc. - Навчання та стиль
Thank you for posting this video. I have just purchased a high lift jack for my Navarra & then found that the jacking points beneath the beast were almost inaccessible for a high lift
. I thought that the lift assist might suit my purpose & your video just confirmed that fact.
Awesome, I'm glad!
You were not the only one dude. I had same experience 😃
Can you use something like this on sand… A soft base without the high lift jack kicking out? Thanks
The dog was so smart to take cover 🤣
Dog has seen some shit...😂
They should make those straps a little bit longer
What situation would I need to lift the wheel by the wheel? Sorry just curious
You could use this for example in lifting a wheel out of a rut or trying to clear a rock or lifting the wheel to place a traction aid device underneath (eg. Maxtrax). You could even use this to help with winching (see my winching video). Hope this helps.
NJS Instructional thanks I just subbed to you
Same. I don't get it
I do think this could be useful but you can not change a tire with this as it attaches to it!
It's used with the addition of a jack stand to change a wheel.
@@spencerm106 can you explain this? Bc I thought the same thing. How could I change a tire when this is attached to the tire I’d be taking off
You jack the car up (via the wheel), place a jack stand under the chassis, drop/release the jack. Change the tyre. It's not rocket science.
@@spencerm106 never used one before so thanks
