It's crazy how long a controlled burn can go with just a tiny amount of air going in. I remember emptying a burn barrel that was ice cold to the touch more than a week since the last burn and it started a yard fire! Glad I caught it before any real damage.
Your Boxer has a catalytic ****COMBUSTER****... not a converter. A catalytic converter is on your car. ha. Half of all wood burning people call it a "converter" so you have a lot of company. I like your video because I plan on sweeping my chimney this spring. It's WAY overdue. keep up the good vids.
Thats awesome!! Thank you for coming back to the channel…. Stove is doing great and we are loving it! Here’s a review I did on it a few weeks ago. ua-cam.com/video/w33E1O1cAC0/v-deo.html
I'm surprised that your chimney pipe doesn't have any roof supports. I've seen plenty of them that look like metal straps that go around the chimney about half way up and run out at an angel to the roof.
I ended up adding some tie-downs. I was surprised that the pro that installed my stove did not suggest to add the straps. Especially with the hight winds we get.
I got a similar brush but I can hook my drill to it so it spins, realy cleans that way but since I got a Blaze King, I don't need it. The manual says to take a soft brush on the cat a couple times a yr.

Yup! That’s how people burn their house down. Glad you caught it.

I’ve hear of people using a blower nozzle on their air compressor to clean the cat. I’m sure it makes quite the mess but affective.
@@riethridge466 The substrate is fragile and they tell you in the manual to not use pipe cleaners on it, just brush the front of it with soft brush
How do you like the blaze king boxer?
Absolutely love it. The burn box is not very big but it does a really good job. Planning on doing a review on it in the next couple of weeks.
I would be interested in seeing a review of the boxer!
