This is by far the worst game I've had to edit for the channel yet. (edit: out of what I've edited. There are multiple editors.) For those wondering, Bloodborne is being edited currently and you'll probably get the entire series as one video. See you in a few weeks. ;)
Ending a story with suicide is like starting one with the main character waking up. They didn't even take screenwriting 101 yet they tried to make one of those "video games are art too" games.
It's like they don't understand what makes visions and hallucinations scary: it's the fact that they blend into reality and you can't look at yourself from a sane perspective, and hence can't tell what's real and what's not.
Now this game was shit, not arguing that but I feel in general games have problems with this, they will either tell you in the end in a very hamfisted way "it was all a dream" or it will be obvious you enter some dream sequence. I don't have an exact answer to do it correctly, maybe it can start more subtle with dialogue from say like a cop, that is very threatening or like turns into a literal monster or something and maybe you end up possibly killing the dude, but later if you look for it you find a report/bodycam footage that shows what actually happened.

The walking trees made from a thousand screaming faces throwing atomic bombs are all essentially unstoppable.",_ but I'd still love to see the end result.
Just wanted to drop an appreciation for the editor-of-late. The aside-bytes, the intermittent meme-refs...for me what could continue to feel like a shit-posty, tongue-in-cheek formula of over-accentuation became streamlined a while back. Subtle jokes and inserts at this level have me coming back to videos like a Stiller flick so props and thanks to y'all!
I guess some people liked it because of it's use of Zdzisław Beksiński imagery, but it seems like kind of an insult to him. If anyone doesn't know who he is, he's a polish painter and his shit is amazing, a game could definitely utilize his art style properly and create the most terrifying game ever.
There's so much lost potential with this "two realities" bullcrap. Just imagine utilizing it in puzzles, where there's an obstacle in one reality, and jumping to the other one would let you pass said obstacle. That's just one possibility. But I bet anyone would take that, or anything that actually utilizes this "patent" in a gameplay sense, over whatever the fuck they tried with this.
Gael as well as Scoot always improve the videos. I love Adum of course, but playing off of someone during commentary is always fun. Also sets him apart from all those other streamers who are just alone with chat. And massive thanks to fanboy for the great work, as always. Your edits are usually among my favourites on here, allthough every AdumPlaze vid has managed to entertain me so far.
Yeah, you never aim a gun at anyone, let alone with your finger basically resting on the trigger, unless you want to kill someone, or you are cool with potentially, accidentally doing so. If you hand someone a gun, you are supposed to hold it pointing away from both of you, holding it nowhere near the trigger. If you hand it over unloaded, you unload, and you check the chamber.
Why don’t they have it where you transition between the two worlds as a mechanic. A level of Titanfall 2 did that and it was super fun. It was more of a time travel thing where the two locations were similar but they had differences that caused you to time your transitions. One was a fancy sci-fi place and the other was an overgrown destroyed version.
Dude. If you liked Siren Blood Curse then you should seriously try to check out Siren 2 (aka Forbidden Siren 2). Blood Curse didn't keep most of the great additions and improvements that game had.
There are hints of interesting ideas in this: how they portray being a medium and that dual universe, how people's inner trauma's could create spiritual monsters, and some story elements are okay. However, it's all wrapped up in a really shitty game. It's basically drip feeds the story so slowly to be agonizing. Oh, and the ending is shite.
Vaush saying comrade was so good. The cold war started a project in the CIA for 20 years trying to make psychic soldiers because the soviets were doing it. MK Ultra was also going on during that time so Vexel's interpretation would make perfect sense. And makes a much better story.

They did nothing with the dual world shit. Not even something as simple as having a boss fight where you have to lure a creature into traps that exist in the one world but don't in the other...that'd be something at least. A blocked pathway in one world is open in another and your character has that unique power to blend the two worlds together in order to progress. Something, anything to make it more than just a marketing gimmick.
The split screen looks awful, it adds nothing to the game, it wastes resourses by loading the same map twice, takes space from the cutscenes and it makes the main character look like a crazyperson in the real world. Why didn't they stick to switching between worlds trough the whole game?
