How can Gary’s most expensive items be at this storage locker when he’s literally walking around with the most expensive cards in the hobby? I’ll never understand lol
But what if he did have a storage locker full and since people saying hes fake he went and showed it and wasnt lieing and bamn crap ton of base set booster boxes ect
So Gary claims to have 3 storage lockers full of collectibles. In the Graham Stephan interview, Gary states that 80% of the contents are a mixture of other card games that never took off and are “worthless”. This clip will be included in my next video. Gary showing off a storage locker full of collectibles would prove nothing at this point, and would be a sad attempt to save face.
I'm not into the Pokemon community at all really, just on the fringes but I did see the one video of him describing that he was going to put away the cards into storage for good. You can't judge people on image. It doesn't explain anyone bro. You will learn that in life or you will get hurt by someone for thinking they are who they are

I've been around since the beginning of Pokemon and started into Pokemon as a kid. I knew of Gary long before Pawn stars and knew he was a person to avoid. Guess it makes sense now…that bgs 10 is like a million dollar card now. But still sucks what happened to Pokémon since all this. All the sharks came for our beloved hobby
One thing he is right though, no one is blaming Pokemon Company international ... maybe because all the pokestreamer hope one day to receive a love letter from them. Pokemon prices in West are not for families/kids. In JP it cost 1.5$ a booster and less than 40 dollars a box for the same UR ratio...(that is the real scam). The game is designed in JP for JP consumers (mostly kids) where people/kids play also the game... West is just a cashcow for Pokemon International Company. Where I live kids don't care anymore about Pokemon. Pokemon interest life cycle is between 6 and 9 years old... Why is Pokemon doing a brawlstar like game ? because all kids are on fortnite and brawlstar and they are loosing market share (the one that matters). The Bubble you mentioned is not just for cards, it's the entire Pokemon thing. This guy is just a collector and especially a retro collector and he is right he is playing the "collector" game and Pokemon Int helped him a lot... His only fear to be honest is that Pokemon reprints the base set... (that would actually solved many issues btw). Regarding recent "scalpers", they are just stupid > this retro charizard is worth a lot because back in the days it was played by kids and adults didn't care and so many of those cards disappeared ... nowadays they are all collected by adults and double sleeved ... in 10 years the stock will be the same and the amount of collectors won't triple. You want to change something in the hobby ? Ask Pokemon Int to separate EU production and US production. Start production in EU for EU markets. Ask them to print much more and lower the price of boosters > 6€ for 3 boosters instead of 1. Add Pokemon Centers in EU and help LGS organize gaming session. Then you will see some changes. Focusing on people or evil collector won't change anything.
Damn 6€ for 1 Booster ? . Here in Germany we are at 8,50-15€ for a Booster now And befor all of this influencer Trash the prices were around 3,50-4€ for a pack
Ok, I saw Gary opening that box and my heart dropped. There is NO WAY a collector would not NOT to do that. Zero chance. And he's "king" pokemon. That was 100% intentional and there is nothing he can say about that. That's just messed up.
He explains in one of his videos why he opens them like this he has like 10 in one of his videos opened like this, he clearly has shaky hands but he is very old and the box was opened for charity.
This is actually crazy man, good research and presentation of everything it's a good argument. 😂 Hope it goes viral, don't think those cards should be worth that much anyway but people pay it

@@elementalheroshiningflarew7269 so Gary doesn’t pay his taxes, hurts the U.S. economy, openly speaks against our government and our leaders, lies about his charity donations to rip off tax payers and somehow you think that we’re communists? Go read a book instead of acting like a parrot.
@UCiO-ftYfebCdHfYL4dZspmA hold on what? Leaders and out government? The retards actually robbing us all dry.
You gotta cool it with the retard talk bruh.
I can see your point with a blimp on the economy mostly just a shoveling of money to japan but majority of it is just a change of wealth in a small community.
But the U.S. government extorts all of us and insider trades and commits crimes as well as genocides with no repercussions.
there were countless red flags in this video, but the biggest being "his signature means nothing" made me feel legitimately ill... imagine lacking such self awareness as well as actual care for the community as a whole and still openly calling yourself one of the greats (better yet, the greatest) amongst all pokémon collectors ??? the disrespect is beyond
unbelievable.
For as long as I’ve been playing Pokémon online I’ve always ran into scammers.
ah gary ... another dude that the community likes. not.
How can Gary’s most expensive items be at this storage locker when he’s literally walking around with the most expensive cards in the hobby? I’ll never understand lol
@@lovesgibson the lost ark, and the holy grail
As an outsider, that made absolutely no sense to me and was an instant red flag as far as trust goes. I mean can you really trust someone who was involved with casinos?
Damn, he always looked like a good person. Amazing work for digging all this information up, Dropped a like and a sub. Keep up the amazing work fam 🙏🏽
what's wrong with him he is nice I've met him before??
You can't judge people on image. It doesn't explain anyone bro. You will learn that in life or you will get hurt by someone for thinking they are who they are
Given what he's done to his kids, I don't see why everyone lists tax dodging amongst his acts. Even if you think it's wrong (I don't but I understand why some do) that isn't worth mentioning compared to trying to induce a seizure in his kids.
and every other collector that was in close contact with him is suspicious aswell.
I look forward to hopefully seeing the cut footage in another video. Hopefully this gets shared around more.
@@garyis2000 Nah, you'd just read scripted responses again instead of truthfully answering questions. I respected you when I met you at Collect-A-Con last month, but after seeing enough evidence of your truer feelings about the industry and realizing that you want to blame the company instead of the people who artificially create demand (e.g. yourself), I lost any respect for you that I had. I wish your daughter well, and I am sure you love her, but get out of the TCG industry.
@@garyis2000 sure with me. Meet me in placerville where i work.
Id love to see that gizzard neck of yours
Thank you for this video I always wondered why he went on pawn stars and didn’t sell anything then the price went up and he was still unwilling to sell the cards
On Pawnstars the guy didn't want to buy it since he had no clue about Pokemon and the other guy didn't have the money for it.
As a latent tcg fan, I recently got back into the hobby but nothing ever quite sat right with me about Gary and Leon. Thanks for the great work mate!
What’s wrong with Leon? I used to watch him alot
Finally Leon comes up. Shady character to me aswell always " buying full collections" lol yea right
Not him comparing collecting cards to a dead baby
Yeah I thought the same. Very cringe.
How does your channel only have 1.06k subscribers man? This content is well made!
Cuz no one cares. Let the man keep his cards or do whatever he wants to do go with them.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Something always felt off about the "King" pokemon, thanks for this research.
Thank you, there was a lot I had to cut though. Such as Gary's involvement with PSA and how PSA's magazine SMR commonly does not include Pokemon prices when the price of 1st edition charizards dip. I will eventually go back and release it, but it was at least 12-15 minutes of coverage alone.
Why was he taking the packs out of the box like that?!?!
to reseal the box lol
Because no one is allowed to get PSA 10s but him...or he had too much juicy juice again.
@@PokemonOverflow oh my god…. I just thought he was just being careless. I can’t believe someone can be that selfish to intentionally hurt the cards to keep his cards value safe.
@@EG1P thats literally all he dose, king pokeman is only looking out for king pokeman not..... pokemon
How dare he say something awful about Bou. Unforgivable.

He crossed the long time ago, and is completely comfortable staying there. A special kind of evil.
Gary only sold Logan that Charizard because he knew it would drive up the price. He even said in Logan's video that he has received higher offers from way more legitimate collectors but he wouldn't sell to them....but he would to logan for less?...ya okay
@@Tetrathegod smart I guess but that shit should be illegal. its like price fixing the market lol.
@@GapedCeilingit can’t be illegal it’s people falling for it that’s driving up the price

What box was that? Still made me cringe...
I never had the joy if Pokémon as a young kid but me in my 20s are finding a interest in them now. I bought a fossil pack a few years back because i liked the art work and it was old. Didn’t know about weight or value or anything. Got it for $15. Opened it up. Got a hypno holo. Fell in love. If I would have known the same pack would be worth about $350 now. I would have held on to it lol.
What year did you buy it for $15 man thats amazing
@@ARMWRESTLINGWHISPERER i cant remember i think it was just before pokemon go craze i saw it and thought it looked cool.
Dude not gonna lie, I've been getting back into pokemon tcg recently (Due to tcg pocket bringing back the nostalgia) and those insane prices really look so artificial to me and now I finally stunbled on a piece of content that actually discusses it and backs it up with facts and proofs! Insta sub, like and I'll be watching some more videos to get a better idea of the situation. I really hope this madness ends before the 30th annyversary so maybe I'll be able to open some products that doesn't sell at double the msrp price cause the situation right now it's just insane! Keep up the great work man
I really fail to see how one guy from Nevada is “contributing to the community” by hoarding cards from one of the most widely known multimedia franchises of all time.
@John James that has absolutely nothing to do with what I said
This just gets worse and worse and worse the way he talks about his family inevitably being bought out by Steve is…. Immensely cruel
Loved this commentary style of video 👏 Please keep this up, I feel this is really missing from the 'Poketube' sphere!

yes, gary. you need to declare your sales. but if your actively buying and putting more than what you sold back into the hobby, provide those receipts and your tax exempted
He is using his kids as a shield. He is an old man. He isnt one of us! The way he opened that box my god.
It seems like he is putting in a strong back story on his storage locker across his UA-cam channel and various podcasts.
It’s almost like he knows it’s empty and wants to give out enough information for some criminal to break in. He’d then be able to claim on his insurance for his ‘precious items’ using all these clips as proof that there were in fact cards in it. But the whole time it’s been empty 😂
Has anyone ever looked closely at the money his friend pats him for the 18 percent of his charizard. One why do they make sure all the hundred dollar bills are face down. Also looking at the few you get a glimpse of the face there is a missing Franklin under his picture. If that’s the case they are all fake bills. I could be wrong just an observation
I've been around since the beginning of Pokemon and started into Pokemon as a kid. I knew of Gary long before Pawn stars and knew he was a person to avoid. He was the OG scalper back when I was a kid/teen/young adult. All he does is chase clout / attention and try to hyper-inflate. He is trying to build a long term "Royal Family/Fortune" but his kingdom is crumbling because he is finally being ousted from the hobby. I also agree on the fact he has nowhere near left as what he claims. He has been living off of Pokemon/TCG for the past 30 years slowly draining stock.

Why on earth is he opening the box like that. no "real" collector would ever butcher a box like that especially one that is being sold to viewers(im assuming)
He probably did that on purpose to devalue their cards since it's not his anyway. It's so hard to watch that part.
Man. Imagine someone gets a BGS Black Label Charizard lol. Gary would spaz out😂
😂
How TF is this so high quality and have so little views
Why do I feel like he collects CP in that storage unit
Guess it makes sense now…that bgs 10 is like a million dollar card now. But still sucks what happened to Pokémon since all this. All the sharks came for our beloved hobby
All bubbles pop in the end. You just have to be patient and jump in after the bubble pops.
Great video and thanks for bringing this to light. My 3 year old daughter has seizures so to see him say that is disgusting
ive never seen that video of him opening up that booster box, i cringed too hard. dude destroyed those packs squeezing them through that
I got admit, that was wierd and shady as fuck. Probably that box had some collectibleguru vibes later...
Commiting tax fraud 100% speedrun
Pretty sure he doesn’t have the biggest Pokémon card collection. He probably only has high valuable cards and that’s it lol
He has a lot of the high valuable cards from the first set, ill give him that. But when it comes to having the best collection... he isn't even close.
Probably has the most expensive one, but not the biggest.
Damn 6€ for 1 Booster ? .
Here in Germany we are at 8,50-15€ for a Booster now
And befor all of this influencer Trash the prices were around 3,50-4€ for a pack

He’s been selling them for years, it makes you wonder how many people got ripped off because of him.
The only pokemon this guy knows is charizard you cant call yourself king pokemon if you only have one pokemon and all in it for money
Ok, I saw Gary opening that box and my heart dropped. There is NO WAY a collector would not NOT to do that. Zero chance. And he's "king" pokemon. That was 100% intentional and there is nothing he can say about that. That's just messed up.
All of these Pokémon Afficionados, and not a single person in this video said it correctly.

Making everything mor expensive about the hobby does nothing to lift the hobby as you said. It only lifts you!!
please let the charizard bubble burst finally, then this fake hyped up value of this single card will be less than other great cards that deserve to be more sought-after and more valuable than this charizard.
When you casually called him "Gare Bear" I lost it. XD
