Ages 13, 15 and 18...closed a 2 hour, 22-song set with this 7 minute Metallica cover. The club owner requested it so they ran through a few times before going on stage. Pure Professionals. Ale is exhausted at 7:42. I love the passion of these Ladies.
Beto Ramos, Pau's drum mentor, is a phenomenal drummer in his own right, having been a member of several prominent Mexican Rock bands. He is also a producer. He, and the other teachers she has had before him, have encouraged her to learn different styles. One of Pau's heroes is Neil Peart, for example. And she's very aware of the styles of other classic Rock drummers as well as Jazz drummers. There are examples online of her performing in showcases and competitions at an extremely high level using techniques you normally don't see in her The Warning performances. So, without a doubt, she can hold her own with the best of them and probably surprise a lot of people in the process. She seems to be a sponge when it comes to picking up on everything musical and particularly percussion. And her musical tastes are eclectic, ranging from Classical to K-Pop. When they were in Europe last year she visited a record store and purchased some Classical albums. Also, TW were walking along and someone was busking a Classical piece. Pau not only identified the piece but also gave a brief commentary on the work. In other words, what she knows about music (and has learned on her own or through her studies at the summer session at Berkelee College is amazing for anyone, let alone someone in her early twenties.

This is also the song that sold me on them, after they hooked my with the 2017 Ted Talk. After seeing this, I knew they was special.
I heard they had not played it for 3 years and when the request came, they did a "run thru" during the soundcheck. Pretty damn impressive. I knew of Metallica, had heard ES, but never this song, so it was completely new to me. I was expecting the song to end much earlier...several times. I was exhausted just listening to it. One of my favorite covers of all time.

Much like Enter Sandman, Dany totally owns this from her ability to channel James so well with her vocals and on guitar playing the parts of two grown men. The overhead camera angle of Pau is awesome and Ale is a trooper. This is arguably my favorite cover done by any band. It takes an incredibly tight band to pull this off.

Kickstarter was for studio funds for their *"Queen of the Murder Scene"* album. *Special show* was for a reward for a reward of an X amount or higher donation. The Warning just ended an 1.45 set. Where Dany & Pau got their third or forth wind while Ale was just hanging on. Before this concert. The Warning release a video of them playing *Atlas Rise* in *The Cave* (home basement studio/rehearsal room). As a way of announcing they will n I longer be a covers band. So far on their live shows. The only cover they played is their own version of *Enter Sandman.* That's what I read through comment sections. So take the info with a grain of salt.
Story as I heard it, anyone can pay $500 and play The Whiskey. After their first show there, The Warning was extended an invitation to play there any time they want.
Proper rock and roll music! Ripping the roof off the joint! So many great musicians/acts have appeared at the Whiskey a Go Go ~ Led Zeppelin, the Doors, Yoyoka Soma! Tremendous performance! Great sound!
At the end of a 2hr set they still bring it hard DPA killed it. Love that they took this very technical song with 1 less guitar and were able to produce this beauty performance so young. Really liked the overhead shot of Pau and she shared the vocals it's insanely good. Thanks Scott this is a classic banger with TWA. 🤘🔥⚡
This one get all the juices flowing. The mics could have been up a little and they could have had clearer shots of Pau, but other than that, I love it. I watched it every day before leaving for work for several months. Thanks.

DPA/TW played this cover of *Atlas Rise* at the Whisky A GoGo's 55th anniversary, 24 Jun 2019... it was the last song of a 2 hour gig with 22 songs played... the manager of the Whisky is a huge Metallica fan and the girls decided to do this cover for them... they originally played it in The Warning Cave (video available) several years before... they did this with a few days practice and completely knocked it out of the stadium! you can tell Ale is worn slap out but powers through to the end... i can't say that i blame her...
