Glad I checked this video out. It's pretty easy to do now that I understand the 4 locking pins. For those worried about fingerprints, hold the frame with one hand, and put the other hand inside the goggle pouch to handle the lens. Use the tear off posts to press the lens back into the channels and work the top, lock it, then bottom, and lock it.
I had a pair of Scott ski goggles 22 years ago they saved my left eye. I was 14 and had no training with poles. Hit my first decent jump and came down with poles out in front and upright and bounced my face hard right onto the pole end. I'm pretty sure I got knocked out bc I don't remember anything else about that trip. No black eye... Years later mom n dad never mentioned I was acting weird. I hope the goggle of today are as safe as they were 20 years ago. I just bought some prospects.
By far the most annoying goggles to switch the lens for. Such a hassle. The clips were so tight and fitting the clear lens was a pain because one side always keeps popping out or you keep bumping the clips closed.
Did the prospect design change? Mine do not appear to be the same, feel like they are going to break trying to get the lens out. A slower, more detailed video is needed.
great goggles but this lens change system you’ve come up with is about 20 years behind the industry. i like how you pretty much acknowledged this with the whole but our lens doesn’t fall out explanation. as if lenses falling out of goggles is an issue😆. but at the end of the day the only thing that matters for me is if they don’t fog up.
Dude did you talk to them, I've never had any issues??? I've been running their goggles for years, and I had one small issue years ago, not gonna go into details, but they resolved it and I was 110% happy.
@@chrislockwood1724They were nothing but nice with me. I have like 15 pairs of prospects, they are great goggles. They look awesome, the field of vision is great, durability, pricing, everything is great about them. And they keep improving. The 2020 models, while not a big difference, have an added layer of foam to absorb sweat and it works great. I've talked to them at scott on the phone and email, and they have never been rude. Whatever the issue was I'm guessing it was probably you're fault or you were rude to them. They stand by their product. Scott is a great company. Coming out saying Scott sucks is ridiculous. It's kinda telling. I've emailed Dave the guy in the video quite a few times, nice guy, and again, everyone I've talked to at Scott have been nothing but kind and willing to go out of their way to get things shipped fast, or whatever is needed.
