Agree with all you say. The Bacon is esthetically the most beautiful, the Pinkerton most prolific, and the Reed has the best of Both! Next would come GEM...these are the four best IMO. Thx for the videos.
Hi Frank: I definitely agree with you on all 4 avocado trees. I would have shown my GEM in the 24" box but it only has 1 avocado growing this year. My GEM is still a slower grower but it is growing. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching! Hope all is well!
Am so glad I found your video. giving lot of hope that avacado fruits in pot. I recently purchased bacon, Reed & dwarf Pinkerton & growing in container but was told it will never fruit. Have been looking through google for many days & finally found your video.. Now I am so glad & happy.. can’t wait to see mine fruit.. love your video and your avacado plants ❤

Your trees are looking great Johnny. Keep up the great work! Your trees are rewarding you. Do you think that the bags covering your avocados are worth the money?
Hi Sam, thank you for your kind words! I am actually a little disappointed in the organza Bags. Did nothing for my figs and I am not sure it's really doing anything with my avocados. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching!
H Budi, I switched fertilizer to Espoma Citrus-Tone, seems to work great. Please feel free to check out my prior video on this fertilizer at ua-cam.com/video/gtwYrZ9BJ7k/v-deo.html. I like to use well draining soil too. Thank you for your questions and thank you for watching!
Hi Eva: I live in S. Cal. zone 10b and check out my prior video on the fertilizer I use at ua-cam.com/video/gtwYrZ9BJ7k/v-deo.html. I fertilize about 3 times a year. Thank you for your comment and for watching!
