- PV of "you may crawl" from school food punishment's sophomore effort entitled "air feel, color swim". Special thanks to One80 from Jpopsuki. I personally think they are a great band with a unique sound. They certainly deserve more recognition.
15年以上も経ってもまだ時代が彼らに追い付いていない感じ。凄すぎたバンド。
おい待て、15年前だって？私もおじさんになるわけだわ。
もう流石に復活は諦めたけど、全く色褪せてない。凄すぎる。
今でこそ緑シャカのように、女性ボーカルのバンドも人気出てるご時世だから今世に出てればまた違った評価されてただろうなぁ
Oh man!!! Mid 2000s Japanese indie was so eclectic. Really liked these guy's sounds. I remember listening to them all spring the following year.

SFPのインディーズのアルバムは、何度でも聴きたくなりますね。10年以上聴いても、全く飽きない。
1番ライブが聴いてみたいバンドであり続けている。
2016, now I miss this band a lot
この曲と出会ったのはスピッツ草野マサムネのロック大陸漫遊記でした。初めて聴いたあのときの衝撃は本当に忘れられません。気づいたら惹きつけられているこのメロディと歌詞。もっと世に知られて欲しい一曲です。
このバンドが残した功績は物凄くでかい
これを超えてくるアーティストが未だにいない

うまく言えないけどそんな感じの曲。

ノイタミナが知るきっかけだったけどどの曲も吸い込まれるような曲ばかり。最高だよ
These guys are underappreciated big time. Their music style and original sound is fantastic.
What is amazing about this band ? Everything ? The synths are OUT OF THIS WORLD, the bass is always slapping hard as hell with not your normal or classic bass line. The drums ... are always keeping it interesting with constant changes and amazing quality in the sound. Why is this band so amazing ? Because they are so weird... in the best way possible, this band produces songs out of this world that are nothing alike to others. Some people might call them messy and all over the place but after a lot of listens you get it ... that is what they are looking for... a messy yet amazing and satisfying sound. I discovered this band looking at random drum covers of anime intros and when I heard light prayer it was an instant click with my ear. I like every type of music but after some time I am bored of the songs yet this band makes it possible for me to never get tired of not even one song they produced. The sound of this band makes me feel things ... makes me nostalgic... makes me remember good times... makes me happy. I wish I knew them when they were together and it is sad to know there will never be more music like this but at least we have all their albums and singles to jam until the day we die. Thank you school food punishment for making me feel this way about music...
Back at that time, I'm really sure they're the weirdest genre of their generation. The music,bass, and especially the lyrics. I love them that way!

Waooo!! I can still remember the first time i heard one of their songs used in 'eden of the east' *light prayer* i was confused as heck back then like what in the world is up with their music?.. It got me confused big time!!! I'm so into music, it's just that i don't have any deep background when it comes to musical instruments, maybe a lil' bit knowledge on acoustic guitars but that was it 😅... I thought their music was like umm (in a mess?? ) or something like that, but i tried listening anyway and found myself deeply immersed trying to find badass synths... I mean, it's so unique in many ways... My all time favorite songs from them was *HOW TO GO* and *IN BLOOM* and also *after laughter* .... God it's so hard to choose.. 😂
I love how Yumi sings in such a..."jazzy"(?) rhythm. As usual, the instrumental is amazing too.

I love this bands sound. Unique is the word that comes to mind and the fact they are innovative with their sound. It's nothing you will hear with alot of commercial acts here in the U.S these days as too many bands are trying to sound like evryone else just to make a quick buck.

Goodbye SFP :( You were one of the best bands ever. Why did Yumi have to leave? Well, whatever she does next I'll follow it because she has a great voice and the rest of the band are exceptional musicians.

大好きな人気バンド達に夢中だった少年時代のなか、こういうエレクトロニカ・ポストロックの良さに気づかなかった、自分が悔しすぎて、激しい感動が押し寄せた。「素直に感じろ」と、あの頃の自分に言いたくなった。爽快感あるエレクトロニカの響き、これは素晴らしいバンドだ。

@XionXi The same applies to any country to be honest. Indie from all different countries have unique, interesting sounds. Most people only look to the mainstream and form biased opinions. Not to say mainstream can't be good though :p SFP's sound is probably my favorite of any band. They would be my favorite band altogether if I could understand what they were singing about. xD
SFP's been my favorite band for years now... Their disbanding is really somber music to my ears :-(
