Hey Jude- The Beatles (Guitar Cover)

Hey Jude is arguably the Beatles' most recognized song, even though it's one of their longest, at over 7 minutes. It was released as a single during the White Album sessions of 1968. They knew this would be their next single, so they recorded it at a studio that had 8-track capabilities: Trident Studios on St. Anne's Court, London
There is footage of them rehearsing this song at EMI, two days before the official take at Trident. George Harrison and Paul famously got into an argument during the EMI sessions, after Paul told him the song should not have any lead guitar on it. However, there is some electric guitar that ended up on the final version!

In the rehearsal footage, George is seen playing his Gibson SG electric guitar. After him and Paul argued, the SG is seen sitting on a chair and George left for the control room
There are pictures of the July 31 1968 Trident sessions (the released takes). George is again seen playing his Gibson SG. The isolated track (see link above) clearly proves that George was plugged into an amp with a tremolo effect. This must've been his Fender Showman or Fender Deluxe Reverb amp
John played his Gibson J160e acoustic guitar with a capo on the first fret. I'm using my 1966 Gibson J-160e for this cover. It has pyramid flatwound 11-48 strings on it, and a Shubb capo
I'm using my 1970 Gibson SG Special for George's electric, into my Fender Deluxe Reverb with tremolo. The speed is at 2 and intensity at 7
Interesting notes:
0:33 here John plays Bb as a bar chord, then plays an A/Bb, then G/Bb
1:00 George enters, starting with only an A note, then playing two strings at a time
1:01 John does a hard stop, then plays C as a full bar chord
1:09 for this verse, John emphasizes down and up strumming
1:23 John plays a low F on the second strum of Bb
1:51 George enters again, playing only four notes
2:07 George enters for the last time, and he slides from 8th and 10th fret of D and G strings to 10th and 12th frets
3:11 during the refrain, John starts to do hard syncopated up-strums here
3:36 the up strums are even harder and he stops more
5:13 he pauses on the Eb chords here
6:12 John plays 16th notes a little too fast
6:17 John intentionally starts the chords before the downbeat here
