Rolling the car down the driveway at 5am to not wake your kids up, i seriously thought i was the only one to do but im glad im not😂 anything to get out fishin!
Great stuff as usual. And I have totally felt the stuff you were saying at the end. It has to feel pretty good to get a day like that recorded for yourself.
Awesome video, just wondering if you have fished up in Stafford or Willington. There is a lot of good streams up there too. Also in another video you mentioned you fished the scantic river. Do you by chance have any video of that? Thanks you for your time
I’ve never fished Stafford or Willington before. The Scantic is a fun river, for sure, but the last time I went out there last year, my GoPro was temporarily out of commission. I’d say the Scantic is probably on my short list for this year, though!
@@ConnecticutAngler you should definetly try the willimantic river, roaring brook, and the other streams up here in stafford/willington. always pull good trout out of those rivers. would definetly be a cool video because roaring brook is a class 3 wtma
Big fan of yours and have watched a ton of your videos. Do you ever fish in Fairfield County ? Mianus, Norwalk, Peqquonock ? If you ever do would love to fish with you ? Also, do you make it up to Croton at all ?
Sorry, your comment got stuck in the "Held for review" bin for some reason and I just found it recently. Truly, it's my pleasure using your music! The track "Turmoil" that I used in this video is just an excellent piece and I greatly appreciate your efforts and talent.
What town was that spot on the Dickenson, all I know is it is above the airline trail. I have fished the stream quite a few times wading up from Salmon River to the airline trail.
I plan on fishing the Naugatuck river for trout. Is there any spot where there’s a lot of them so I can at least get one because I’m still new to this? Also nice video trying to learn as much as I can through youtube
There’s really LOTS of spots. Too many to list! Best bet for a river as big as the Naugatuck is to use the state stocking map and check for dots along the river which represent stocking locations. That’ll give you an idea of where to start on a given stretch of the river.
According to CT’s definition of fly fishing, a fly rod and fly reel are requisite. That said, folks who aren’t fishing in “fly fishing only” areas can oftentimes be quite successful using flies on spinning gear.
I’m in southern NH - fishing looks very much like this!

How the hell did that angry brookie get through the net?!
Right??? I couldn’t believe it! I’ve had tiny brookies and browns slip through, but that brookie really had to FORCE his way through that netting.
@@ConnecticutAngler That was impressive lol
Hah.. is it still fly fishing when you put the fly on a spinning rod??
