Riding through the winter landscape of Switzerland in a horse-drawn sleigh - who hasn't dreamed of that? This is possible in Pontresina, near St. Moritz for example. Climb aboard and come with us on a journey to fairytale land.

This video is about a winter experience that you can't miss in Switzerland. The horses belong to Wohli's carriage ride and riding school in Pontresina near St. Moritz. They are allowed to live outside in the open stable all year round and have an extremely beautiful horse life. But horses need to be kept busy. If they just stand around, they get sick and suffer from stall damage. And since you can't just let horses run around freely in Switzerland, they are used for such carriage rides. These two horses - Carlina and Castro - brought us safely to our destination. I can only recommend them!

The carriage trip looked like fun. Rasta seemed to be tired though. 😅I was surprised at the temperature. Minus 13 degrees?! OMG! Never experienced such a low temperature! I was afraid when you tried walking on the frozen stream.
Everything I do is with a lot of safety - don't worry about me :)

Wow, what a wonderful place! I've often seen the view up the Val Roseg from Pontresina in summer but had no idea how beautiful it could be in winter. Lovely to see Rasta looking so happy, too!
And I was never there in summer - but I guess it is wonderful as well:)
This is a beautiful ride from start to finish. Is it wonderful to see the beautiful roads, the mountains and the "carriage" ride? Forgive me because I don't know what you call horse transport. But the snowy place

Another gorgeous video trip. Thank you. Have you given any thought to someday also using a drone for video when you are on your mountain hikes? A drone can provide a whole new spectacular video world. Something to think about. 🙂
Hey Walter! I have drone but it is difficult to fly with a drone and having Rasta by my side. But - I have a new gadget which I will check out soon! You will see it surely in the next video!:)

I must say, as I have mentioned before, that I really do love your videos as I am very drawn to Switzerland, but know that I will never be able to visit. So, your videos provide a huge window on what it is like traveling around that spectacular mountain country.
