All these years later and it still hurts to remember #99’s death, and I’m not even an Eagles fan; was just a tragic loss for his family, the Eagles, and the game as a whole. Rest easy Mr. Brown, you are remembered and loved.
RIP Reggie White!!! I’ll never forget you carrying me on your shoulders through the halls of middle school in Tennessee in the mid nineties. A true gentleman. You’re greatly missed my good Sir. For those curious, his Aunt was my 8th grade English teacher in Knoxville, TN. He used to play for the TN Vols, and was a minister at a church in Knoxville.
It brought more tears to my eye because he’s from the Bay Area and I know out here in Oakland and Richmond it’s soo hard for young kids to grow up in a good community and find ways to get great opportunities so i love what he was able to do and keep that promise to his grandma. That’s true respect
I’m similar to him everything I done is for my grandma not for me all my 4 all star championships 4 mvps 1x king of the mat in wrestling and my 4 tackles 2 assist touchdowns and 2 fumbles I done in football and more sports is for my grandma
It might be evil I don't care I have no remorse for Dez Bryant never did never will the only ones that want to be cowboy fans is to see them lose every super bowl I like New England that sees the thousand super bowls
Junior was a hard one.. I remember when he came to my elementary school and individually signed everyone's photo. He was so nice. He's the true reason why i will ALLWAYS be a Charger faithful!! RIP
There's a good chance he won't be with the Saints after this season. He'll be a free agent and the Saints probably won't spend the money on him with Brees still having another year on his contract.
I think Deion was the right guy to interview Takkarist McKinley after he got drafted. Deion was a passionate player and was able to give the kid advice about passion in his first seconds in the NFL.
No idea how Reggie held it together. I’m guessing initial shock somewhat cancelled out sadness at the moment, but my goodness what a human and what strength.
The good old days when a person(Jerome Brown) passes away and instead of social media outlets or new casters telling everyone his friend and teammate(Reggie White) has the honor to do so
The saints blocked punt is the most emotional play in my opinion. First play back after hurricane katrina. We lost so many people. The city was destroyed. But Gleason gave us all something to live for when he blocked that punt. He now has ALS and cannot move. His son will never see first hand how great of an athlete his father was. That hits really hard for me because of my dad. 3 months after I was born, my dad broke his neck. I never got to see my dad as the athletic guy he was. It was all neck braces and moving slow. 😕
Something about seeing grown men cry hits my heart. I cried when Reggie White passed. I knew him. The last thing he said to me was "I'm going to pray for you." R.I.P. all.
Man, I remember seeing Shaquem Griffin getting drafted.. made me cry a bit. I never liked the Seahawks but he was one of my favorite players and still is.. he’s shown that nothing can stop him, even with a defect such as having only one hand!
I enjoy the content, man. A lot of people might say that the position these players have is a privilege, but it's also a curse. Like any public position, it brings an unnecessary spotlight to issues you wish you could keep private and I commend every player and person who has gone through similar struggles and not let it be a defining issue. I hope everybody reading this stays strong through their dark days because (even though it's cliche) things really are better on the other side. Nothing but prayers and blessings to all the players and people seeing this who need a shoulder to lean on, I'm here for anybody who has dealt with the pain I and others have been through.
I cried when Reggie was giving the news about jerome brown. Seeing how emotionally torn he was really got to me. You could see the pain in his eyes
Turgeonn - PS4 what’s also painful is that you can hear it in Reggies voice trying to keep calm but it got to him

I didn't even know that he died
When McKinley got picked and completed his promise that bring a tear to my eye
I loved how Prime calmed him down after that. He knew how much it meant to him but helped him through the process
I remember watching the draft, it was hard to hold some tears back
It brought more tears to my eye because he’s from the Bay Area and I know out here in Oakland and Richmond it’s soo hard for young kids to grow up in a good community and find ways to get great opportunities so i love what he was able to do and keep that promise to his grandma. That’s true respect

The Griffin brothers got me. Imagine seeing your brother with one hand make it to the NFL. That’s hard right there. Mad respect
I was rooting for him. He went to the Seahawks I think….
