Yup I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks this. All games are slowly adding these money hungry tactics. Where a $60 game can go to being a $80 or $100+ game. We can’t stand for it now or else it’s just going to continue to get worse in all our favorite game series.

Normally I'm right there with you but RGT you buggin on the MyCareer mode. You essentially get 1 season of story then the rest you play like a normal game. I look forward to each years story. Whether bad or good. MyCareer is the ONLY reason to get 2k every year. Keep up the good content.

Does the gameplay feel slower? I have it on switch and the dribbling especially feels a lot slower with the right stick
If you are intrested in this game buy it USED. Dont give 2K any of your $. These practices will only continue and get worse (microtransactions/gambling).

the seventh generation era was the true start of the mindless first person shooters, grey and brown graphics and DLC and micro transactions.
I call these "microtransactions" moreso gambling. An E rated (or Pegi 3) should not have this type of "gameplay"
You know you can play all the same stuff that does not have microtransaction in the new nba 2k's. So that argument has never made any sense.
@Joey Ford y'all act like you have to use microtransaction. I hate them too but there is so much you can do without using them. The Game plays way better then the old ones and y'all are missing out because of something you dont have to use or need.... If this was about Madden I could understand because 2k5 played better then the new Maddens but the 2k basketball games are still good sport games compared to the old ones.

I love the game. Bought the X1 version for play on my X1X, 4k tv, and bought the Switch version for portable use and I am really impressed with the Switch version. Looks great for the Switch sounds just like the other console versions and plays very well. I understand people are fussing over the microtransactions. I don't care about that. I bought for the portability and the only modes I play on Switch is Season, or the playoffs as my favorite Bulls teams versus the other great teams of the past.
how much is the install size when you get the game physically??
I've been reading some reviews stating that MyLeague Online is supported in this year's version. For that reason I picked up to play with a friend.
However I don't seem to see any options for online at all when setting up the MyLeague. Can someone confirm if this is actually working, and what I am missing to enable that option?

The game itself is superb
This NBA 2K20 has improved the shooting bar accuracy, very cool. It was frustrating in the 2K19 version after you made a great dribling for a mid distance play and later on you made the shoot and you failed.

Game looks good. I’ve been getting it on switch exactly for portability. 60 FPS would’ve been dope but I’m ok with 30. Just gimme my NBA action!!! Great review my man!!
Yeah, if we got 60 fps, the game would look and play ugly and outdated, they made the right choice

What i want to know is, is this game still online-always for everything? Mobile 2k19 had a way to have auto-midsaves and save states but on the switch 2k19 just booted you out if you put the switch to sleep and went back in. So is 2k20 on the switch as portable as portable can be?
P.s: i know this is on switch but the stiff jerseys make me sad. Last gen has movable clothing

You've never liked the My Player Mode, which makes sense since you'll never have the chance/time to really get into it. If you're just wanting to get to basketball; then at first this mode isn't for you. Usually after you make the team and go through your rookie season; the cut scenes are few and far between. At that point you're really just playing basketball and making your player better.
I like the challenge of bringing my guy from a 60 rating to a 95 each year; eventually retiring him into the Hall of Fame... I feel My Player actually makes the purchase worth it. Instead of just paying $60 and basically only getting roster updates...
Granted; 2K should do like Madden and have a alternate voice options for the different races. Trust me, as a guy that has been playing the My Career/Player mode since day 1; there have been major strides made with how we are now able to personalize our characters. However; as noted, there is still room for much needed improvements.... Maybe next year....

Same here, I actually play the core 80 season "campaign" or at least close enough. I must say, the gameplay is the best I've seen in some time.

I own 2k19 on switch and the game would glitch out randomly like players would disappear during the game or warp to the middle of the court and the ball would be hard to pick up then it would freeze after does that happen in 2k20?

It is 2k not your switch. Sadly thats how switch ports are some perfect some good and some ok or bad. This good to ok port but remember when playing online its mostly wifi so lag is there.

@Psyduck gambling shouldn't be sold to kids period. And if futhermore free2play mechanics have no place in premium games.
As a temporary solution, I think the ESRB should give games with microtransactions an M rating. It won't necessarily stop kids from playing it, but maybe it'll prevent some parents from buying it for their kid.
