Just great Bob and Jenny. We were up there last Summer. Loved Dunnet Bay and Dunnet Head. Didn’t particularly like John O’Groats - all a bit false and touristy really. But the whole area is so beautiful. We really enjoyed your Orkney series. Thanks for taking us along.
Brilliant manoeuvring once again onto the ferry ⛴️ it always amazes me how poppy just seems to know when you arrive at a campsite...that little whimpering she does is adorable. The weather wouldn't bother me if I were sat in your beautiful motorhome chilling with a cuppa. Take care ❤
Thoroughly enjoying this tour, your reversing skills were certainly better than the van coming on after you, or so it looked. Congratulations on finally reaching 31k subscribers
Great reversing skills Bob.Well done. particulary when you know you are being watched! Roads are a bit rough up there. Rough everywhere to be honest though.... We have just had full air suspension fitted to our 574. The difference is amazing, smooths out the road surface on rough roads plus loads of other advantages one of which is avoiding grounding out on a ferry ramp. The cost though is also amazing!! very expensive but worth it if you dont intend to change your motorhome anytime soon.take care on your travels.
@BobEarnshawMoHo We used the VB system fitted over 3days by A&E leisure in Northwich. It's got a levelling function for sloping pitch, tilt to drain waste water, independent front and rear lift. Reduced road noise, improved cornering and stability. Feels more like driving a car rather than a van. We are only down the road in South Warrington if you want a test drive in our 574. It's a lot of money but the difference is amazing. Take care.
We were at that site a couple of weeks ago, we had a pitch that backed onto the road which was a bit noisy. We also stayed at Brora 🤣 where we had a bit of an incident with a golf ball, take care! Thanks both, Em 💜
You may of done this and i might of missed it. Would you do a Midlands tour. Some lovely spots, cotswolds, peak district, warwickshire countryside, would love to see your videos on the Midlands. Could stop off at Somers Wood whilst you're about
Thanks, we're often stopping at Moreton in Marsh and Broadway, we were there in June on the way to Hermanfest. We haven't done a Midlands tour as such, although we've been to Chapel Lane, Cirencester, Warwick and twice a year to Somers Wood for the NEC shows. Five years ago we went on this tour ua-cam.com/play/PLUi3rqw12j2ofutPm3Cnn1DCkk80vBpI7.html We also did a Peak District Tour ua-cam.com/play/PLUi3rqw12j2py2PmWiSgl3T3U4ZxSJfPD.html
Looks like the car park at Jon o Groats has been repainted as the motorhome spaces we used are now all coach spaces. Love the beach there at Dunnet Bay. We spent hours walking on the sand last time we visited 😃 Safe onward travels. 🚐💙 Trev n Sue
Been to Dunnet bay twice, once in a storm and once in glorious sunshine. I loved it both times. Thanks for the videos. ❤

Thank you, we weren't keen on John O' Groats for the same reason.

That's the great thing about a motorhome, you can always be cozy warm and dry. 😊👍

Thank you, I do try 😊👍
Thank you for a lovely set of videos, we have thoroughly enjoyed them. Well done to both of you and a special thanks to Poppy the pathfinder.
Thanks so much 😊
Great video yet again. I really admire your manoeuvring skill’s getting on the ferry! I’m still learning how to drive mine around our village!
Great Vvlog guys trying to catch up as we were away, john o groats looks great.
Great reversing skills Bob!
Thank you!
I love all your adventures and love the journeys very much. Keep up the good work and thanks again for sharing 🙂 the roads are a disgrace however 😂
Yes they are a disgrace and set to get worse as budgets are cut.

Thanks Ray, that sounds a useful upgrade. Which system did you get?

Wow, it sounds amazing.
I chose the other ferry to Orkney as I didn’t fancy reversing on!
It was OK really, you get plenty of help.
We were at that site a couple of weeks ago, we had a pitch that backed onto the road which was a bit noisy. We also stayed at Brora 🤣 where we had a bit of an incident with a golf ball, take care! Thanks both, Em 💜
Yes, it's better away from that road.
Good video, lovely views, Poppy,
I was just about to ask if the cars had to reverse on to then you said about it lol

With all your travels how many miles has your camper done?
23284 to be exact, since we bought it in December 2019.
Enjoyable video but why no “Paid Promotion” warning? It’s probably easier to just put that on for every video you upload nowadays 😉
No, I'm certainly not going to be doing that.

There were a few Motorhome spaces, but all full when we arrived.
