    Hello from Thailand. Love your vlogs. I was going to buy the Vlog camera Sony ZV-1, but seeing this I thing I may go for this one. Do you think this is better then the ZV? Thanks Icecy :)

      Hi thanks for watching. If you're doing content creation I'd say go with the ZV-1. It's a little better in low light, has some nice product showcase features, and the built in mics are almost as good using an external one. The only reason to get the RX100 VII would be for the longer zoom which could be useful in travel situations. But I think the ZV-1 is the better value at the price point.

    Thank you for the tips... this is the main challenge I have with my RX100 VII... but what a great camera!

      Thanks for watching. Yeah low light can be challenge. But that's also to be expected at a sensor this size. And all the other features make up for it.

    What if i was shooting at a concert and I cant really move closer than I am? Any tips to counter the grain from high ISO? I'm still a beginner looking to pick up a mark 7 next week! Also how would this RX100VII compare to a Panasonic ZS200? Thank you so much!

    • @CreativeTechLab
      @CreativeTechLab  Рік тому +1

      I actually find using the zoom at the higher aperture at a concert is just fine because the stage is usually well lit so everyone can see the artist.
      I'm not familiar with the Panasonic camera so I can't comment on it.

    hi i have a question. is there a PAUSE button somewhere in the sony rx100 M7 camera during movie recording. I can't find it and tech support doesn't know either.

    • @CreativeTechLab
      @CreativeTechLab  10 місяців тому

      No. Why would you need a pause button?

    • @Lessi76.
      @Lessi76. 10 місяців тому

      @@CreativeTechLab because if I want to take a break for a few seconds, I have to end the movie. and I don't edit videos. So there is no pause button???

    Great video, I've rented an RX100 V twice now. It's such a great little camera for on the go stuff when you want to be a bit more inconspicuous. First time I used it I was so surprised at how small it was and how great the image from it was.

    • @CreativeTechLab
      @CreativeTechLab  4 роки тому +1

      Yeah. Even now that I have an interchangeable lens camera, I still find myself coming back to the RX100 because it's just easier to take with me.

    good tips Leo... for me the biggest is use available light.. look for the light ..

    • @CreativeTechLab
      @CreativeTechLab  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks Gilbert. I find for still photographers they’re so used to having a flash that they don’t think about that as much. Coupled with the fact that there’s no “shutter rule” so there’s an extra lever there to pull depending on the situation.

    Thanks for the review. I recently sold my dslr to downgrade / upgrade if you will lol (I'm a less is more type of guy). I want to travel and film / shoot. This camera seems idle for what I want to do, the size is a plus as well. My question / concern is if the rx100 8 will come out in 2020? I'd hate to get the 7 and then a month later the 8 comes out... tia.

      Ahh and I got a crane m2 waiting for this camera as well! Nice!

    • @CreativeTechLab
      @CreativeTechLab  4 роки тому

      Hey thanks for watching. The RX100 line of cameras are awesome and compact making them great for traveling. Regarding whether you should wait for a mark 8. They have released a new camera in July for the last two years, so there may be an update then. But with the world on lockdown right now I'm not sure if there will be a July release, we'll have to see. However if you really want/need the camera now, just go ahead and get the VII, it's an awesome camera and you won't be disappointed.
      And the m2 is the PERFECT gimbal for this camera!

    Great video but for us beginners is it possible you provide exact example settings in the camera step by step so we can save as custom

    • @CreativeTechLab
      @CreativeTechLab  10 місяців тому

      I’ll do a follow up video. It will probably be featuring a different camera. But the settings will be applicable across all cameras.

    For stationary subjects and stills, using JPEG only in-camera MFNR is a possibility.

    Better just not buy the Sony RX100 VI (mark6), the camera literally broke down after 1 year (flash broke down). Worse after sell service because only sony distribute part for sony camera, and the markup price just unreal, save up for another good camera like nikon, canon or fujifilm.

      I’ve had mine since 2018 when it was released and it still works like new.
