- This is an introduction to using Logic's stock EQ plugin to improve vocal tracks for podcasts. I may have learned a few things since this video was released, so just ask questions if you got em.

This was very helpful. I've had Logic Pro X for like a month and I have not been able to figure it out. This was a nice intro.
Aaron, Thanks for the great tutorial. You rock man! This was some valuable information. Thanks again!!
Thank you very very much for this video. Extremely helpful and well explained, haven't been able to find many other videos like this.
you have the best tutorials. You thoroughly explain what is and how to use it. thanks.
your welcome you were very helpful. One thing you didn't say was what the knee does on the compression video. could you tell me?
Wow. This was so helpful. Thanks for recording this. Awesome!
Wow, this was very useful. I just started podcasting and was looking for ways to improve the sound. I will absolutely look into using some of what you've outlined here for the next show. It's funny in that it's more of a paradigm shift--prior to watching this, I felt like the primary use case for an EQ was to enhance the audio--more high end, more midrange for richer sound, more, more, more. But this makes me think that perhaps a better use is to make audio sound the best it can at rest--remove unwanted elements that detract from the most natural sound. It's a very interesting thought. Thank you for your work with this.
This was incredibly helpful Aaron. Thank you! I have a podcast (the hardy bucks Podcast) I've used various
different approaches, often just using what ever mic I've had at my disposal. I've battled Issues from recording in a room, bad sound card, mic positioning etc. It's a learning curve I guess. I think I've lost a lot of listeners due to lack of audio fidelity. This tutorial has given me a solid handle on how EQ works. I'm going to take a look at Compressors next if you have that info too.
Love it so much. thanks man, you're the best!
Super helpful, thanks.
amazing tutorial thanks a LOT
Mind Blown! Thanks for breaking this all down- really well done- Thanks Aaron! Looking forward to editing my latest episodes and tuning them up. I record outside a lot- I use a dead kitten wind screen on my Zoom H6- occasionally it's not enough- I've tried rolling off the low end and it helps but is there another plug in that would help eliminate the rumble of the wind?
This is great!
Thank you so much!!!!
great video man!
+The Podcast Dude really really helpful! also really enjoyed the video on compression, made it really easy to understand. looking forward to watching the rest of your videos.

Thanks a lot for the video! the podcast about scarcity mindset also sounds interesting, where can I listen to the full episode?
Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer bro
Hey dude do you know if the NT USB mic from RODE is worth it (for podcast and gaming vids) :D
I have a blue yeti, but I thinks its big and clumsy so..... I wanna switch it out but shure il take a look at your other video :D
+The Podcast Dude I've been pretty happy with my Audio-Technica ATR2100 for $60, though I'd trade anyone for an SM7b :)
The Mid Freq knob selects which frequencies the Mid knob will control. So, if you turn it up, you will be able to adjust the higher middle frequencies, and vice versa, but you have to choose. You'll see that on some bass amplifiers.
Very helpful, thanks a lot.
