I always get something out of your videos Serge. Today, for example, I didn't know I could do this in FCP. I've said it before and I'll ay it again: thank you sir.
Serge, I found this video to be enormously helpful. Thank you! Wanna say that I really appreciate all the time that you take editing these Final Cut Pro instructional videos in a way that is easily understood. 🙏🙏
Serge... I don't think you may realize what an impact you have by creating this content to help others... or maybe you do... Nonetheless, I am so grateful for your detailed and easy to digest explanation on how to resolve audio issues. Serge, THANK YOU! May the Lord use others to show up to help you in your time of need.
Back in March 2017 you released a video about the Limiter effect. I suggested then that it would be useful to hear you talk about the compressor. Now, after this video, I would love to hear how the limiter and the compressor fit in your overall workflow.
Not so much about this clip but I knew next to nothing about FCP up until a month ago. Man your videos are invaluable as well as easy to follow. You deserve a heck of a lot more subs. Glad I did.
This was freaking awesome! Figuring out the best audio settings on FCPX has been much a mystery to me. This was very clear and straightforward. Thank you for creating this!
I've been trying to figure out EQ for months and this is the only video that I've been able to find that has fixed the unnatural, punchy sound introduces old compression settings. I had my attack and release too high! Thank you so much!
Very helpful. I took notes, combined them with some definitions from Universal Audio's website, and applied them to my church's service video with great results. Thank you so much.
That was an amazing quick to the point video on exactly what I was looking for. I'm doing teasers for a podcast for our company. And needed to limit my voice over, and compress the music in the background. Thank you
After watching a number of videos trying to figure out how to improve sound in FCPX, finally there is one to the point, accurate and the most useful one. Thanks dude. You made things a lot easier for me now.
I wish I found this video much earlier and not going through dozens of others. It’s amazing how my audio improved after applying this tutorial in fcp. Clear explanation is everything! Thank you!
Thank you very much, Serge! I have put this to action straight away and created a couple of new compressor presets to work with my new sound setup. Very helpful!
Wow my man - I made it a point this morning to watch this video. Wow wow wow - the before and after difference of the audio was extremely dramatic. Thanks for this gift!!!
Thanks, It was very helpful My DBX broke and the replacement will not be here and I had to get something done. I'm old school and like the knobs but I guess it's good to learn the digital way to do this in a pinch...
Amazing stuff, Serge. I've been trying to play around with my audio the past few weeks and haven't really figured it out and this helped tremendously. Thank you very much! Just subbed. Love your stuff.
Serge this video is EXACTLY what i needed - gonna search for it now but have you done a video on the limiter? and how these two tools differ from each other?
Dear Serge, This tutorial was incredibly useful. I've been looking for this info on how to make my audio more unified for nearly a year now. These settings really work, and now I have a much more even dialogue. Thanks ever so much.
Super helpful! I was really struggling with this project I'm working on that has lots of dialogue coming from behind and in front of the camera. This smoothed it all out and now the levels match beautifully with the music. Thank you so much!
Another excellent and very useful tutorial! So long I used to detach the audio from the video clip and take to Audacity for editing the sound and then bring back the edited audio into the timeline. Your tutorial on FCPX inbuilt audio editing software will now make my work flow better. Thanks-za-ton and have a great day ahead
I found this particularly useful as I have just begun to discover the extent of the benefits of Final Cut Pro X. I do a considerable amount of editing so this was very useful.
Very helpful, thanks! 😄 I noticed that after I did this that the audio is peaking at a few spots. Is it recommended to add a limiter after the compressor?
Got the same Question. I combined tone Compressor with additional effects and Audio is peaking. For that I put the Limiter at the End of the "Effectchain".
Remarkably clear presentation. Not too technical, not too simplistic. Sort of like Goldielocks.
Thanks👍 Gentle Man ❤. Lots of love from India🇮🇳
I always get something out of your videos Serge. Today, for example, I didn't know I could do this in FCP. I've said it before and I'll ay it again: thank you sir.
