dope looking game, seeing name tags through walls seems odd for this type of game tho at least whens enemies.
The server admin can change that if it's a dedicated server, but at default you can see player names up to 200 meters away through objects
Also tip you can find cracks in the borders to get passed them
The more i watch you play the more fun it looks lol

Does anyone know if it has partial or full controller support ? Is there any news of it? Asking cause I saw a single post of one guy saying he got a xbox remote to work through steam and was able to do allot of stuff using it . On steam it doesn't mention full or partial support . Since the game is so similar to ark and ark was controller playable and rust too so was curious .

So much to be done to make this polished - played heaps, but I'm done with PvP til they implement fixes.
I think with a little of work this will take the place of rust for sure.

if the devs now decide to stop working because they already made a lot of money the game will flop but if they decide to hustle now and work hard on performance enemy ai maybe more places of interest (smaller map) they will make a great game
@@tobiii1200 very true, there are games that ended up with devs giving up and a lot of games that are still in Alpha 😆 after 10 years. It can belly up quick if they drop the ball.

Idk. I tried it and it feels like a game from the early 2000's. Mechanically on a worse level than Battlefield 2 in terms of gunplay. I'll keep an eye out for it to improve, but I think it's way too early. Rust Legacy was more polished.
LOL, first leather guy you hit in the upper chest, second shot missed altogether and half the rounds from the pistol hit the metal guy, but I like the video regardless.

Trying to raid a base that has devastator turrets seems impossible. They can intercept all tank, rpg, and helicopter missles every time lol.
You can tank the shots with the tank you’re shooting it with. Pretty simple

@@AdamJamezz off course is 2023 you cant compare engines and technologies when rust release it was a masterpiece. Actually i think this game needs so much work to be just like rust or at least close
@@AdamJamezz this game needs so much polish. the current game market must be worse than i thought if u think this is better than early access rust. not saying this game doesnt have potential but its core gameplay has been done 20x already, if it doesnt get extreme polish itll eventually fall off into obscurity
@ uhm no, I was playing rust since day 1. Rust legacy by no means was a masterpiece. The fact it's where it is now is thanks to continued work on the game over time, and that the game's 'genre' even to this day is special. Not many other games have the same formula.

7:15 this is why i cant say this games better than rust. This game is entirely gear/level dependent. Not based around skill in terms of positioning/aiming.
I personally am sick of getting 3 tapped from behind and miles away by a dude with a better gaming chair 🤷🏻♂️ this gives you a chance and requires a bit more precision for longer fight duration.
I think it's because they wanted the game to be like how Ark is setup except the difference between this game and Ark is that there's no dinosaurs. Ark is setup the same way and can be very gear/level dependant. Atleast in Ark if you get a couple good tames you can raid a small base to then get a bunch of gear.
@@PartiallyRoyal Idk if you are insinuating at cheaters, but I dont think a higher TTK will make it easier to fight a cheater. I can see why fights lasting longer is better for many people, its like trying to compare squad and call of duty, just different styles of FPS. For me though, with lower TTK, it encourages growth in how you approach fights, or even just how you traverse the map in general. If I am getting beamed out of nowhere, theres something I could've done better, like did I know there was an active group in the area? A known roofcamper? Was i running around in the open in an area i've never been at before? The only downside to me is it's harder to tell if someone is good, got lucky, or is cheating when its possible to kill people so fast.

Read the Steam reviews. This game is already riddled with cheaters and hackers. Not wasting my time with it without anti cheat.
The reviews are confirmation bias. I was hesitant too but bought it anyway. I have 41 hours and haven't seen a single cheater. There's also dedicated servers, so admins can monitor their own servers.

it seems way too easy to raid people. you just took out their entire base in like 10 min while they were out :/

There's a talent that reduces the range other players can detect you. Not a huge L. And it doesn't matter unless people are right on the other side of a wall.
