This little adjustment that Devon explains here is priceless, especially for those with smaller hands. It gives you an advance against toprollers as they are not able to connect their little finger to gain more moment.

Forcing them to lower their wrist angle and creating space between their fingers and the back of your hand, creating more time for you to cup your wrist before they can attack you fingers.
