- Well, I decided to create subtitles for a (very popular) video on which Alexey Voevoda
teaches various guys how to armwrestle better. It took place at A-1 - Russian arm wrestle
tournament (28.07.2012).
Original video: • Мастер-класс Алексея В...
My translation is far from ideal, if you notice any mistakes or awkward, odd phrases, let me know and I'll try and fix. - Спорт
Thank you! I spent about 15 hours translating. This is my first translation experience. Maybe I will work on other voevoda's videos.
I just found this video brother. Thanks a lot for all your effort.
Awsome man. Thank you for this
thx
Thank you brother. Can you translate 1 more video of arsen liliev training. I can share you the link
Thanks alot.Voevoda is the best.23:58 best part
God bless Alexey Voevoda, honest and kind guy.
Voevoda was caught CHEATING. He's a doper and fraud.
wewewewewe wasnt him but other russian athletes
Dave Most arm wrestlers that get to his level are on gear. Fact.
@@Dave-lr2wo cheating in what? olympics? you're dumb af if you dont think everyone cheats at olympics.
This guy was a real monster to his young time. Maybe he comes back. Living legend alexey veovoda.
Stumbled on this gem 9 years later, thanks for taking the time to translate.
Thanx , alexy is a master arm wrestler. I'm glad I had translation. This was a great class for me.
:) I personally think the reason Voevoda doesn't hide his thumb is that he is quite universal, I mean, he is good both at hook and toproll. Plus his wrist strength is beyond all limits. That guy is really unique, deadlift of 320 kg at age 17 is super great. But people with less experience and power might want to cover their thumb. Of course, if a) they're going to toproll and b) their fingers aren't way too short, as Voevoda said.
Im confused nowadays, can i cover my own thumb knuckles before ready go?
As much as I love john brzenk and I still think hes the best of all time, but man this guy has AMAZING genetics and work ethics. I genuinely don't think he was ever on steroids or growth hormones, specially not synthol (obvious on that one lol). I mean he did a human fucking flag at 270 lbs. The reason I like him though is unlike travis begant (or rwhatever his name is), he's not a muhammad ali wanabe. He's a nice guy who is polite and helping actually + smart. Mad respect from the US to Alexey.
i love voevoda but he was doing drugs, now he is banned for life for doing so
Tomás Emilio Silva Ebensperger really ?!
yep. sad story
But Travis says, "And I'm pretty!" ;)
I like them both, though. Travis has a nice video on grip strength you may have seen. He's a good explainer, and his left hand was best in the world for a time.
But, drugs makes you stronger, so it's good for arm wrestling.
Alexey is a master class human being. I've never seen him speak down about any thing.
I have watched this before trying to learn from him, obviously so much easier now. THANK YOU SIR
Waaao ,just awesome 👌. I have been learning ARMWRESTLING online for more than 3 years . But this one video is a encyclopaedia in itself,it has anything everything that need to learn as an arm wrestler. Thanks once again for uploaing this masterpiece. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌☺️☺️☺️☺️
I really appreciate these captions. I've been dreaming of this seminar with captions!
Thank you for the subtitles!
Thanks for your time in adding subs! great, now finally i'm able to understand what Voevoda is saying and i'm grateful to you for what youv;e done :)
Thank you for your hard work traducting it 🙏
You did a great job. Many of us can use your great work and learn more.
Thanks so much for the English subtitles!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video
brilliant translation thank you very much. i understood voevoda's personality much better now he's a great guy, legend in fact.
Huge appreciation for your translation work man
You definitely should. You did nice job here and these vids are rare yet HUGE resources for all pullers especially new guys just hopping into armwrestling. I learned a lot of new things from alexey in this vid like to lift fingers slightly before the hit, his views on thumb capping (which is opposite to Devon's view), how he likes post toproll and doesn't like low hand toproll, etc. We get to compare different views of different elite pullers.
Really great video, super interesting (and damn that guy has giant hands at the end hahah).
Thanks so much for taking the time to translate it, there are very small mistakes but honestly it's very easy to understand, you did it really well.
great video thanks megazorR93 every word voevoda said here is gold and so are you!!!
Great video/subtitles!
thanks man, really appreciate your work!
Why did he give up on armwrestling? He started a comeback it didn't work out well and he instantly gave up. He should try again
he spoke a lot about his love for sports stemming from his love for adrenaline. i suppose eventually armwrestling stopped giving him that adrenaline and so he moved on to bobsledding.
Well he’s back now
He is so humble even being SUCH A FUCKING BEAST!
You helped so many people, you cannot imagine right now!! For many years in near future.
The previous video has been watches 500.000 people...and mostly russian speaking people...
This has english sub...we know how many people speak russian...but english...everybody speak english...so that video will reach 3-4million watches...
Think that way and be patient!
Your work is extremely a magnificent treasure!!!
And again...BIG THANKS FOR IT!! :D :D
Блин, какой же он приятный человек!!! Прекрасный человек!!! И сильный, и говорит красиво, и склонность к русским традициям, и добр к простым людям!! Уважение таким людям!!! Воевода - прекрасен!!
Great work translating that!
congratz, it was a good translation, and thanks for the vid ;)
watched the whole thing... great stuff
OK seriously , who ever translated this, thank you so much.
Really great stuff!!! Thank you!!!
The master at his craft! 👍🏼👍🏼💪🏿💪🏽 respect to Alexey Voevoda, good trainer
Translation seems fine my friend thanks for offering this!
You're awesome! Thank you thank you thank you for translating.
Yes please, the text one too if you have it! De understand how much work and effort you put into it, but we appreciate it enormously!
this was great and i think taught me a few things that i need to work on :) thanks Alexey!!!
Great job.
Thank you for such a comment :)
If you think it takes some time to find this vid, do you have any idea of how I should rename it?
As to the "Сергей Бадюк и Алексей Воевода" vid - ye, I've watched it, but you will be probably disappointed about it, Voevoda there actually explains the very basics of arm wrestle, which you most likely are well aware of. Howerer I'm going to rewatch it in order to find some interesting parts.
learned a lot. thanks
Thank you so much!
1:40 voevoda explaining the art of "hitting" in armwrestling
so cool for him to teach like this
Hi! You're a good teacher. Thanks
Woah!Thanks learned a lot today.
thanx for the subs !
Thanks for the translation mate
what a gentleman.. and legend of course
Thanks a lot ! great job
Incredible
GOD BLESS YOU MAN ! THANKS !!!
Wow hope we can get more of these nice translations
Thank you very much for translate that video. really
congrats for your job
nice! I wanna next part!
God bless you bro!
15:03 Voevoda talks about his match with Brzenk. He said he was disappointed because he thought Brzenk would give a harder fight.
thanks !
outro nivel de atleta
great translation
can you add more Voevoda videos with subtitles ?
thanks
i hope u can put the subs in the video.. so people can download the video with subs... hope u understand my english..im not really good with it, 😂... but thanks for the translation.. it helps me a lot... i hope u can put the sub directly into the video.. btw thanks again for the translation :)
I hope it will get much more watches than it has now (1800). The original video got over 500 000 watches before the author removed it for some reason.
Alexey just an amazing human.
What about those larratt's videos? I'd like to get to know his point of view.
Igor Mazurenko made over 9000 training videos :) Tbh I haven't watched them either, I only watched Voevoda's videos. I think, firstly I'm going to translate the rest of them (voevoda's videos), and then, perhaps, maybe...
excelent translation. thanks
but what happend with the rest of the video???'
hope you upload all soon!
Wow he earned his money that day.
yeah lol alexey's so strong he can just choose the technique he wants to use without having to expose someone else's weaknesses cuz most of the time he's stronger at every area than the person he's pulling. Devon said he likes to cap his thumb cuz he likes to climb higher for better leverage and also cuz the fingers capping the thumb add to the rotational strength of the thumb as opposed to thumb rotating alone. He also said he doesn't like gripping low in a hook cuz he likes high hook.
I love Alexey Voevoda
Amazing advice at 13:16 i am not even into armwrestling still couldn't stop watching. Bravo
eposyba same :)
Awesome teacher he is
Alexey is a very good man.
Genuis
Bravo alexey
no synthol in that fucking arm just power hulk power.
Ye, I will do it. Most likely this summer.
Лёха тут в хорошей форме ✊🔥 жаль что забросил Арм очень талантливый способный парнишка 👍
Great...
do you have any plans on translating other videos/interviews?
THANKS!!!!!! You are the best!! And don't worry...many watches will come...just need time for it. Need some time to find this vid also...:-)
You are our saver!! Thanks again and again!
If you feel like, your next project could be that, lots of people would like to understand what voevoda is saying!
on youtube: Сергей Бадюк и Алексей Воевода
Thanks again!!! Extremely good work!!!
You were Goddamn right
Your a BadMan!! If I'm in Russian will definately wana arm wrestle you. Keep up the good works!
i can't seem to find devon's videos from his high hookers website. But they are all scattered around youtube..
If you want to translate voevoda's trainings, then please start with the ones where he is practicing in igor mazurenko's gym. He is with a partner there and explains quite abit about technique and various exercises on various machines.
Pero que buen video para aprender 😎
2:23 notice how is incstinc its to move away from the table as soon as he does the move this dude is insane
Second part ? Please upload
EL MEJOR.
Hi!
Thanks for such a fast comment!:-)
So maybe no need to rename it //but I could suggest to big capital the subtitle part like ENGLISH SUBTITLE, because nearly I jumped the video, I don't think there is a difference between the previous one//, but maybe need some more tag..
If I search only "voevoda" it is great, the video in top 5, but if I search "voevoda training", "voevoda teaching", "voevoda 2013", "voevoda 2012"...there is no results for this vid...so need more tag...I think
nice
:D :D My life? I dont know...but my armwrestling, YES! Thats for sure...:-) And I m pretty sure that not only mine, because there were so many begging comments on the previous video for subtitles...not only me interested in...:-)
And so..is there any chance to see other part of the master class video (voevoda red t-shirt one) with subtitle?! :-P.../a big "asking" smiley here, which is not exist yet here...:-)/
Dude... You can click and drag the captions LOL!
I now know how to armwrestle. Too bad I have no arm, and am currently typing with my toes.
stoneeh srs ?
Can you please translate the next one ?
thecosmy1 he didn't...
part2`?
at 23:04 the translation says "as a matter of fact its utopia", it should say "as a matter of fact its Ubiquitous" (seemingly everywhere).
Good
i thought voevoda was inactive for 10years? how was he @tourney in 2k12?
greetings from sweden , i dont care what anybody thinks for me , this man is the greatest armwrestler of all time .. i also like devon laratt alot but still voevoda is nr 1 for me best everything and he doesent look like a chernobyl accident ..
