Harry, Thanks again for taking the time to show us another beautiful gem from your neck of the woods! You fellows really do have some nice tools and tool makers. The pole/dowel plane was very clever and an eye opener. I may give constructing that a shot in the future.
    Thanks again!
    Albert

Albert - the threads were cut with a box gauge screw cutter - like a big tap and die, I think one of the Woodwright books may have some plans, my friend made his up by copying an old one, and modifying old plane irons.

Thanks Harry! Oh, and I found a place that sells wool top hats in the Victorian style!

Good venue, and a good day out. The cafe was a lot busier when the public arrived. Hope we also picked up a few new members

Hi Harry, What a stunning place! I have been to Country Gardens before where you can get the contrast of the old house and mature plants that contrast completely with the modern sculptures there. I also like that you, as bodgers seem to do quite alot of "come and have a go" this must have been great for the public, especially with it being Father's Day.Thank-you for posting Harry. N.
