Mazdaspeed Miata INDE Main CW 5 9/17/22

One of my laps from INDE. First time out at a track in over 2 years and my first time running CW ever. Not my fastest time (GoPro died mid session). New front aero made by rgr_engineering using their Splitter and Spats.
Front grip was greatly improved which changed the balance of the car to a more neutral to oversteer feeling. I was using new tires (Maxxis RC-1s) fresh out the box as well and I think they will take some time getting used to. They weren't very confidence inspiring compared to the old faithful Toyo RA-1s at 2-4/32nds. Hopefully these age well just like the RA-1s did or I'll be going right back to them for HPDE. Granted, these are at full depth, no heat cycles. So I can assume tread squirm and my cobwebs may have contributed to those initial impressions. All in all, it felt great to be back at the track.
