Here is some footage from Session 2 at Buttonwillow this past weekend. I ended up taking off 2 seconds from my last visit with a 2:06.74 according to the AIM2 albeit, not captured here because GoPro battery finally bricked. Picked up a Hero13 Black so I shouldn't be having these issues ever again 😂
The car remains mostly unchanged which unfortunately means I still had to combat boost creeping/ECU fuel cut, leaving me only using 60-65% throttle feathering in 4-6th gear. That being said, the car absolutely was handling like a dream on the RC-1s and alignment by Dr. E at GummyGrip LV. I couldn't be happier with that aspect.
This track event was the final straw that broke the camel's back. I am going to install my MS3pro so I can do trackdays below 2000' elevation. Running tracks in AZ had very poor DA which allowed me to push 100% without having boost creep/fuel cut. But running here at 272' above sea level is just proof that I need to go the Megasquirt route and have the power delivery that I truly deserve. I feel that I can get another 4-5 seconds just from installing the ECU at the same power levels.
