I really like this game, although the difficulty quite unforgiving (three hitpoints->permadeath). Also, what is the deal with bosses being people in torture instruments?

There is about five songs plus some special for bosses and stuff. But there is one iconic, which tends to repeat more often.

Good video. How do get the good ending? I have played through 3 times, beat the armored head and instead of facing the final boss I get a message that I fought bravely but the time line was destroyed anyway. Any ideas?

You need to destroy a certain number of orbs in the stages by using mid air attacks

If you are playing games just to beat it, then yes. But if you playing for pleasure, then this game too short. But it's awesome!!! 53mins of perfect spended time.
