Well pulled the SP Refractor Image Var of him and a Judge to boot. Nice grades, mine are on the way, so fingers crossed.

Advice for covering the grades. Use 2 pieces of cardboard. 1 to slow reveal the card you’re holding, and the other to cover the card behind it right when you lift up the card on top of it. 2 pieces
Those HFA cards are so hard to grade. I had a Soto from Series 1 that looked perfect and came back a PSA 8. I hit a Julio from Update and saw enough small imperfections to just punt on grading and sell it raw. And now I’ve hit a Tork that looks gorgeous… but I’m gun shy about grading. Default grade seems to be an 8, and even getting a 9 barely nets you the cost of grading compared to selling it raw.
Hoping I have a couple big gems in about a months time. Sent in my 3 big base cards of Julio, Bobby and Kwan from Sapphire...and nickel and diming the rest of the singles away to make them easy keeps for the collection! A little worried about the Julio but the Bobby and Kwan should gem.
The 3 cards I Gemmed in my 1st submission came from eBay. And one I had since 2005, a 2002 D. Wade Finest XRC. I was SO shocked. If I didn't have my eye on a Maravich RC, I'd make an offer on that 2018 Jackie SP. Sweet card. 🔥

Just have the cards face down and flip them, no need for the cover card. I may be alone, but I hate the slow reveal... You are the perfect medium of not too quickly ripping through the cards and also not covering just the grade and talking about the card for 5 minutes like some lame grade reveals. Keep up the good work!
Stryker I have a question regarding Bowman Chrome cards in 2022 Bowman & 2022 Bowman Chrome 🙋♂️ The color of the Bowman Ball in the upper left-hand corner of the Trey Sweeney BCMA-TS Bowman Auto has a red B rather than a blue b. What’s the deal with that?
The centering wasn't what got me on that one. It actually has decent centering compared to everything else I've seen. The backs on those cards can be quite rough though. I want a GEM mint one but I think it'll be too expensive.
@@StrykerBreaks Yeah I have a Black Gold Julio black parallel /299 and the edges and corners weren’t great. The black border on the back doesn’t help hide anything either. Im sure that gems for these ones will hold a huge premium.
I have had a problem lately with getting gems on the hard signed chrome cards that I can't see any flaws on. i hit the bobby witt red auto /5 in sapphire and scared to send it in because it looks perfect but most of my autos are coming back 9. anyone telling you to speed up ignore, cards should be savored.

If it doesn't hit reserve ill send in and try again. Its so scary sending these raw cards to PSA though of higher value or astronomical value. do you sweat it out until they arrive and get checked in at psa?
100k shouldn’t be that hard for you. Great personality, top notch showmanship, amazing pulls daily and you actually know the sport of baseball. A sheesh ton of the other breakers have no idea who they’re pulling and only know who they’re supposed pull. Pretty annoying for not only a collector but a baseball fan.

How do you get so many 10s. You make it look so easy. I had a small submission recently and went like 30% on 10s, I was very picky too. Not sure if the grader’s wife left him the day before or what lol. Keep up the great work, love the videos.

Hey Stryker, Congrats on all the gems! Do you always ask or advise people to ask the ebay seller to send more pics of a card? Like maybe zoomed in on corners, higher resolution, etc. before you buy it to send to psa?
psa has had a string of mishaps lately where their employees have been careless because of the amount of people submitting , ive seen alot of streamers in the hobby saying it and showing vids of them pulling the cards with no flaws only to get em back bent corners an things like that

PSA has the market and they know it. If they throw you back a perfect 9 it's just so you pay double to send it back for a 10.
Also got the price you pay, if it's an 8 or 9 the reason should be listed in an email or something.
Yeah they are very inconsistent. A lot of those 10s looked like 9s and a lot of those 9s looked like 10s. Some of those 8s looked like 6s though lol.
