Victor Vodnik is a former Braves reliever prospect who was pretty filthy in the Braves' organization pre Covid and then he struggled after that 2020 layoff season and was then a part of the trade they made for Pierce Johnson. He has a pretty live arm and had a decent enough rookie campaign for someone who has to pitch in Coors. ERA right around 4 across 55 apperances.

I sent 12 to PSA a couple months ago and got all 10’s. I even got an upgrade charge on a 24 chrome green refractor auto /99 Yamamoto. I remember being super picky on that order though, no wishful thinking cards. Thanks for sharing!
Sometimes cards have light scratches you can see with a 4x magnifying glass. I don't know if the card graders use it but is noticeable. Because some cards gets tossed around inside their sealed packs. 2024 Prestige Sunburst football has this. Some. You can also see tiny dot patterns on the cards
I’m loving the Orioles and Phillies this year, have been buying up Holliday and Marsh rookie autos but love seeing the amount of rookies in the Series 2 update set. Can’t beat the throwback 89’ series inserts and parallels too
I feel like every order over 20 cards from PSA now has an obligatory 6-7 head scratcher to keep us wondering. And yes the gem rates have dropped considerably in the last year.
2022 HFA's have a 10% gem rate across the set and the Black Gold's are about the same. I've been hearing the Raywaves this year have been grading tough.

Since PSA and SGC are part of the same company and own 90% of the grading market, I sense their standards for grading went up. I have no evidence but my gut says yes because they monopolized the grading market. Thank you for the content.
Stryker you must rip the double rip card from Allen and Ginter, if you're careful and use a exacto knife you can salvage the outer card, and then when you're done with a little bit of super glue put it back together. I can't wait to be able to get back to work so I can pick up some of the new A&G.
Good to see this. I actually cancelled my PSA account after two submissions (40 cards or so). The grading was a coin flip, and I’m not interested in turning $500 cards into $50 cards, so it’s a hard pass for me. I’ll eventually crack open most of my 9’s, which could easily be 10s.
For what they charge for grading they should take 15 seconds to indicate what they found wrong with the card. Then again, if they did, they could possibly have less cards sent in for grading if we knew what to look out for.

I sent in 2 Chrome Chourio RC. Both came back as 6’s. Brought them into my LCS and all 3 guys could not figure out why they weren’t 9’s minimum.
Who the hell would ever grade a Freddy peralta, that right there is the definition of way to much crap being graded

Yeah man definitely tough grades on Chrome this year, especially those xfractors and raywaves. Seems like kind of a toss up. Great return!
Vodnik is nothing crazy, but he’s a solid back end of the bullpen guy for the Rockies. I only know of him because I had him in fantasy this year

Try listing it as is. I think an 8 of a low numbered card like that is better than a raw. At least I'd rather buy an 8 than a raw.
