Hi Dom, I just now realized that the waste pump is what the print head "parks" on when at idle. being an EX automotive tech 30 years ago, that worked on drivability and automatic trans... this work is detail oriented as well.
I had to run a few prints to get the colors going....my white is banding though. Im going to try another nozzle flush. Running head cleanings has not helped.
I did a second nozzle flush and i even used an ultrasonic cleaner on the print head. I was able to get my colors back but my white still has really thin banding, enough that i can notice. It might be time for a new print head even though I've only had the printer a year.@@WHOLEPRINTING
Hey I run a custom T-shirt business and I use a L 1800 and I replaced my printhead about three months ago have been keeping it And just cannot get it to print the white consistent. Also the white ink from the ink tank to the printhead isn’t 100% flush like all the other colors as soon as it does, the recharge a couple seconds later some air forms in the line , can you please help
Thank you for this video! My white is still not printing, any ideas on what else I can try? I’ve shaken the white, pulled it through the tube with a syringe and have cleaned the print head throughly.
Hey I watched the video and did everying I saw you do, and now when I go to power on the do the head cleaning it gives be a buzzing sounds and the carrage will not move what should I do?
I have changed the printhead done every Maintenance the machine has to offer and I still don’t have white I’ve been like this for like 4 months and still no white any other things I can do?
@@WHOLEPRINTING 😭 my printer is still only printing black and yellow i tried priming my dampers but im get resistance and nothing coming through the tubes
This video perfectly illustrates why these type of printers are garbage, they are very slow, get continuously dirty and get the best of your time cleaning them. A nightmare no less.
I completely agree… When I first started out with DTF Printing went through hell and back… my print head clogged 2 times in the first month, I have lots of issues and wanted to ship this thing back we’re it came from… but I decided to take my courage and keep moving forward, I knew that the technology wasn’t going anywhere and that the DTF Printing community was ONLY going to grow overtime… Fast forward 3 Years. I now have 3 small printers, I still feel like quitting sometimes but the feeling is a lot more manageable since I’ve learned a lot over the years. Helping others and general daily problems that I’ve solved… I think there’s better models out there. But the reality is that most beginners will start with the small converted printers so I think it’s very valuable to have a good community with the small printers so people can dip their toes into DTF Printing

Best video on this by far
Thank you for your kind words :)
thanks Dom! Do you think it's best to do a printhead flush at each printhead cleaning?
@@mark8975 yes!
Just made a video about it today:)
Also how long should a normal print head last?
Very hard to determine, many variables can effect the overall lifespan of a print head, maintenance, use and overall quality
Thank you as always for sharing ! This rly helped me
That’s amazing!
Happy to hear everything’s going well:)
After cleaning and putting the head back in...what would cause all the colors to stop printing?

In most cases it will be a general issues, sometimes we can damage the print head when “cleaning” it…
Any updates?

Hello I can use the epson l805 print head on to the procolored l805 right ? It won’t affect it? It fitted perfectly and all is the same.
Hello!
Can you please explain further?
How often should I do this? I waited until I needed multiple print head cleanings and it's too late. Can you do this more frequently without issue?
You basically do it after a big production or whenever you visually see that it’s getting dirty

I would try pulling waste ink and doing the cycle you’ve just did a bunch of times until something prints, also try running a print!

is this what causes the white not to print ? my print aint even that dirty and its not printing white
Absolutely!
This can be one of the biggest variables that can cause you’re whites no to print properly
So you dont push cleaning solution through the printhead
Yes!
If it’s clogged you most definitely should
Video on that topic coming soon:)
the amount of alcohole swaps used and time to clean is almost the same amount of money to buy the new one. lol
Ahahah funny 😆
What happens if you rub the printhead too hard?
you better dont
Exactly, it’s better not to do that…
Umkay that was the assumption but I’m guessing there’s no answer
