Amen! The whole CGM thing threw me for awhile, but thanks to channels and creators like you, I’ve mostly figured out my hair! So question… would you ever do a wash day with clarifying upload? I love to see how people do theirs! Thanks beautiful for all the hard work!
Some of us need to wash our scalp everyday (workouts/sweat) I normally use sulfate free shampoo on my scalp only and the rest of my hair is protected with either a co-wash or a silicone free conditioner. It keeps my curls moisturized and doesn’t dry them out. The only time I use the sulfate free shampoo on my length is after a hot oil treatment. Anything with sulfates takes my hair about 4-6 weeks to recover. So co-washing is great for my curls.
A clarifying shampoo is going to remove product buildup, which is essential for us curly gals because we have to use products to keep our hair from getting frizzy and to keep its shape. A regular shampoo is just going to get rid of oils and dirt from day to day activities

Pretty sure clarifying shampoo has heavy surfactants meaning it’s supposed to remove impurities and build up from the hair and scalp
None, they all are toxic
