I don't care what anyone says, this movie was absolutely amazing and very unique in his the story was told. The characters would plan out what they were going to do, and as they were talking, it would show them completing the plan. I've never seen another movie do that. It was also unique on the camera movements too and how the characters are followed. This will forever remain one of my favorite movies
I have this feeling, like this movie gonna be legendary 10 years from now Cos many movies were underestimated at first. Like Blade runner or Fight club
This was made by the same person who made "Snatch" a amazing movie that does a similar planning while doing and I love it. This movie id really good, it wasn't perfect but I never found it boring.
Guy Ritchie is a mastermind at his camera techniques and stylized execution . Just look at Sherlock Holmes or Snatch and now this . But the VFX was real shit except maybe in the last fight .
@@brotheralaric7177 He had planned to make something like 9 movies in total, but the studio cancelled after this one didn't succeed in theatres. Such a shame.
The voice of Mage makes her character unique and unforgettable. One of my favorite movies - I watched it three times and after that video I want to watch it again
This movie changed how my wife and I decide what to watch. We now totally ignore the Hollyweird "critics" reviews because they're obviously biased. I have always loved the King Aurthur legend and this version is just brilliant. Chivalry, family, love of country, heroes and villains. It's all there. Great cast. Good storyline. Stellar special effects. The music! That Huntsman war chant is so primal and just perfect. We watch this movie and never get tired of it.
They were gonna do an entire universe a well, with Merlin and everything. Annoys me how the critics drove so many people away from it. Most people who watched it, loved it.
I love this movie for 2 reasons: 1. It is an amazing movie 2. This is bonding time with my dad. If it’s on wether I am in my room or the living room, he will sit with me and watch it. And when he is watching it he will either tell me it is on or turn it up just loud enough that I can hear it and I will go sit next to him and watch it. No one else really minds this movie but me and my dad love it.
This is such badass sword and sorcery, I get pumped every time I watch it. This style of dark pagan fantasy hearkens back to the types of ritualistic legends that inspired pulp classics like Robert E. Howard. I can't get enough of it, and it's the prime reason I adore this film.
This movie is very underated and this section is stunning - in terms of visuals, story and music - and managing to reference the lady of the lake in a new way. The mages paired down dialogue/intonation is superb. In weaving these elements together and entertaining - Quentin Tarantino & Guy Ritchie stand alone. To make the 'greensleeves' feel of English history fresh and cool while including its essence I would have said was impossible and yet here it is, fully formed.
An explicitly European movie with pagan undertones about a man overcoming a dark force that made him strong by trying to kill him. Of course the Hollywood didn't like this movie or give it a fair chance to succeed. I have a feeling it will become a cult classic anyway.
Really not Hollywood's fault on this one, the Movie's main problem is more or less it's pacing, it feels extremely rushed and very jarring, mainly because they were trying to fit too many tales from the stories of King Arthur into one movie, among other things.
@@shrikebutcherbird For me, the movie could be 4 hours long. Or better yet, Make it into series. Having another badass tv show with Charlie after the Sons Of Anarchy would be awesome.
just recently watched this movie and it has been in a replay mode ever since!!! cant get tired watching it, from beginning to end! great story telling, nice soundtrack and good acting course mates!!! chop chop!
Man, I love this movie! On one hand, I'm sad that there won't be a sequel. On the other hand, the sequel would've had Guinevere in it. Ugh. Who would want to see him getting cheated on and die because of it. I can just imagine: a spunky heroine who exchanges snarky barns with the protagonist as a form of flirting. She doesn't like him at first because he's conceited bla, bla, bla...because she is not like other girls. 😒
God, this movie is possibly one of the most underrated films of all time. It has a cohesive plot, it is metal AS FUCK, and the music is always on point with the setting. 10/10
Movie critics ruined the chance of there being numerous sequels to this movie & it makes me so mad. I loved this movie. Charlie Hunnam did a amazing job at playing Arthur. The music was phenomenal. Screw movie critics who clearly don’t know a good movie when they see one. Lol.
I'm back to re-live the moment when the music hit hard. I wish the movie were longer with more screen for supporting actors. absolutely my most fav Guy Ritchie''s movie.
Young man came from hunting faint, tired and weary What does ail my Lord, my dearie? Oh, brother dear, let my bed be made For I feel the gripe of the woody nightshade Men need a man would die as soon Out of the light of a mage's moon But it's not by bone, but yet by blade Can break the magic that the devil made And it's not my fire, but was forged in flame Can drown the sorrows of a huntsman's pain This young man he died fair soon By the light of a hunter'e moon 'Twas not by bone, nor yet by blade Of the berries of the woody nightshade Oh, Father dear, lie and be safe From the path that the devil made
I didn't love this movie, but this piece of music from the trailer was what drew me in and, unlike so many other movie trailers, it actually HAD the music in the movie proper and I love this scene and this imagery.
The only reason why it didn't get better review is because it didn't have a love interest or have naked women in it. Hollywood only gives sex or gory movies good reviews. The movie's a great theatrical story i like that they weren't focused on a love interest. She didn't need him to be awesome and he didn't need her to be in love with him, they're both powerful soldiers fighting and made a great team together fighting flirting a little but they were focused on the important battle which is what they should focus on since they are about battle to death to save lives nd it was supposed to be a 3 movie deal they didn't give it a chance to build more.
I honestly feel like this is the most faithful to the legend, yes theirs giant elephants and crazy shit, but I think he generally looks like what Arthur would of looked like by looking at the statue in tintangel , Cornwall and this particular ritual the mage who i just saw Morgan le fey when watching it, does along with some other things, are not far from real pagan rituals and we believe snake venom can put you in a trance that allows you to pass through the void to other realms and have hallucinations allowing us to see the supernatural things, I've done this ritual and while in an hallucinogenic state saw the morrigan. I freaking loved this movie it was one of the greatest movies ever and i hope but Ritchie does more of them. And yes I'm a pagan and do some crazy rituals
This 🎵 this score was freaking amazing masterpiece with this scene especially woth the woman in the bark of the trees with the soldiers eyes everything Downloaded song instantly once i heard this

Several movies follow this technique when characters narrate their own plans as well but this particular film executes it beautifully.
