Nice to see the big bike getting the shakedown from Motogeo. I never imagined the Goldwing being ridden on such badly rutted dirt roads and the like. As always Jaime, your videos inspire true adventure and thinking outside the comfort zone box. Fun stuff and oh yeah, score yourself some Yorkshire Tea for the next adventure!
For my 65th birthday, I rode old 66 from Oklahoma to New Mexico, then interstate to Yuma, Az., then to San Diego, up the coast to Sacramento, up and down the mountains on I-8- to Reno, then to Vegas and back. I got to see a lot of road that was on my bucket list. I imagine that coming from the Uk that you were pretty amazed at the landscape changes here.
Well done folks it was good to see a Honda Goldwing being ridden properly. I mean just because it's a heavy bike doesn't mean it can't be ridden like a bike should be ridden!
+John Thompson I find it amusing as well, a lot of younger riders complain about the size, yet every time you see a sport bike rider on youtube ride one they seem scared to actually take it through curves, or stretch it's legs. Ya can only got 180 mph for so long. Get a goldwing and enjoy life.
Wow, what a ride! That's not a bike it's the Starship Enterprise on two wheels!! Glad to see the Tetley T-Bags are still making a home for themselves in your enviable stateside life! The only way you could have improved that trip was by having that cracking little hitchhiker you picked up on one of your previous vids as a pillion ;0) Fabulous filmography as ever - looks like a stunning ride, thanks for taking the time to post.....
Awesome video! I've been riding a 150cc here in brazil for about a year and I can't describe how much fun you can get on a motorcycle. Great work, keep it up!
Finally someone who knows how to choose the right music. great camera work and music selection a real professional production should be on discovery channel. MOTOGEO damn good show.
+MotoGeo Come out and ride Washington state more. Very diverse state from a temperate rain forest to the desert. Did the WABDR two months ago, great experience. My motogeo t shirt was my base layer!
Glad to see you enjoyed our stomping grounds on the Central Coast! The tri-tip is good at Firestone, but the pulled pork with a side of fries is the way to go...
+MotoGeo just make sure you give us a heads up next time so we can show you some insane vistas from awesome trails... And of course we know the best local spots to eat.
You, sir, and your Ducati Scrambler inspired me to get the motorbike license and get on the road. I've started with a Honda XL125V in september, but I already know that I'll upgrade to the CB500X next year.
When I was a kid, I remember watching the Goldwings and said to me that when I grow up I would have one. After starting to drive motorcycles in the last year and getting my first bike, now I see it as too bulky. Even seems that in some turns in the road it might get scratched by the pavement. Nice video though!
When I read Sierra Nevada I thought you were this side of the pond, in Spain. So many Spanish toponyms in the US, very interesting and nice Spanish heritage. Great video.
Zhou ride like there's no problems, that big old goldwing didn't stop your fun off road, you were like a lead guitar in a slow song, good video, maybe your next video can be canal spy dear, thanks
That was a great video! That's the exact color I am looking to get. I am trying to figure out where you put your tent? Oh and the dead squire was a nice touch.
Jamie's videos are always the best but just wondering why does he have his backpack on with so much storage space on the Goldwing....but to take it off-road...kudos!!!
It seems like any motorcycle under Jamie's legs can do anything, but the idea is that any motorcycle can do anything: It happens that Jamie is doing it better ... he he
+MotoGeo Agreed. I will postpone to try with my ZX14. But I plan to learn how to use it every year and every day a little better and differently, use it differently. You are my inspiration and motivation. Keep on.
+letgouvgod I thought about checking out the BMW, but their dealerships are too spread out and the maintenance schedule and cost seems rediculous. Not to mention the recalls. Take for instance the Gl1800 first valve adjust/check isn't due till 32,000 miles.... and i can get an actual warranty for 7 years bumper to bumper. With complete roadside service... heck if i hit really bad weather, say hail is coming down, and i'm pinned under an overpass, they will actually send a truck and tote me and the bike to a hotel... THAT'S SERVICE.

+C moore That is a typo. I meant I-80.

haven't been here for quite some time. Glad to see that watching Jamie ride and eat is still great fun ;) Thanks for the fantastic moto-entertainment!
Thanks for watching buddy! :)
I can't get enough of MotoGeo videos. They are just "AWESOME". Keep up the great work Jamie and team.
Thanks buddy! Cheers for watching and supporting :)
Lane splitting and off road riding on a Goldwing. Now I've seen everything! ;-)
+Wiser InTime Ha! It was fun! :)
That looks like so much fun. Good roads and good weather, I would love to take that same trip.

Another great video! Doesn't matter what kind of bike your on there's always an adventure to be had!
+iRidez650 Yes, exactly! :)
Finally someone who knows how to choose the right music. great camera work and music selection a real professional production should be on discovery channel. MOTOGEO damn good show.

My favorite moto channel never disappoints!
+mocioclistu Thanks buddy!! Ride your bike and have fun :)
Another great video, thanks for the inspiration. I'll be riding up that way this weekend. Cheers
Jamie always finds a way to make me jealous. It's about time I had a mini motorcycle-adventure!
+Stuart Peters Yes, go! Ride free! :)
Another great video from Jamie. Always inspires me to get out and ride more.
+Thomas Summerfield Brilliant! That's the whole purpose of MotoGeo, get on any bike and go for a ride! :) Ride free my friend :)
+MotoGeo Come out and ride Washington state more. Very diverse state from a temperate rain forest to the desert. Did the WABDR two months ago, great experience. My motogeo t shirt was my base layer!
+Thomas Summerfield Brilliant! You must send us a pic. Washington state sounds fun, hopefully we can get up there again soon. Ride free buddy! Jamie
Glad to see you enjoyed our stomping grounds on the Central Coast! The tri-tip is good at Firestone, but the pulled pork with a side of fries is the way to go...
+California Dual Sport Riders That sounds like a good reason to return! :)
+MotoGeo just make sure you give us a heads up next time so we can show you some insane vistas from awesome trails... And of course we know the best local spots to eat.
Great video! I was just thinking about getting a GL1200 for an extra bike too.
gonna get the se spring test drove same year of goldwing and loved it
Love your enthusiasm, keep riding!
Love your videos Jamie especially the ones where you go near my hometown of Porterville CA I dont get to go up there as much as i'd like.
Jamie my man, you have the best job in the world!
I've never ridden a Goldwing, partially because I'm worried I'll like it too much :) Great vid Jamie.
Jamie, another great video, but with all that onboard storage, why did you choose to wear the backpack whilst riding?
You, sir, and your Ducati Scrambler inspired me to get the motorbike license and get on the road. I've started with a Honda XL125V in september, but I already know that I'll upgrade to the CB500X next year.
That lunch could feed an entire family. :)

I still wonder why MotoGeo video view counts aren't into the millions... excellent videos always!
Haha offroading with a Goldwing! Awesome video as always
really enjoyed the video, great work!
Great vid as always Jamie...but man I could murder a burger!
+TheKizzyfish Everytime I watched this in the editing phase I wanted to eat one! :)
When I read Sierra Nevada I thought you were this side of the pond, in Spain. So many Spanish toponyms in the US, very interesting and nice Spanish heritage. Great video.
+Matt Owen Another Spanish adventure coming soon ;)
MotoGeo Fantastic Jamie, looking forward to it.
Zhou ride like there's no problems, that big old goldwing didn't stop your fun off road, you were like a lead guitar in a slow song, good video, maybe your next video can be canal spy dear, thanks
The Kern River basin is awesome.
9:47 ......... beautiful! Oh ya , the Goldwing is nice as well.
I love the MotoGeo vids.
+Richard Wentz Awesome, thanks man!
Great Vid!! Man what a Burger that was!!!
would you say the Goldwing is still the best for long distance touring?
That was a great video! That's the exact color I am looking to get. I am trying to figure out where you put your tent? Oh and the dead squire was a nice touch.
It's 4:20 that gets you. And I'm talking about the video not the plant!😂
Ok, how do you stay so thin???? Love your videos...... Keep riding..
I want a Signet Q version of your Aria helmet! Great Vid!
Jamie's videos are always the best but just wondering why does he have his backpack on with so much storage space on the Goldwing....but to take it off-road...kudos!!!
LOVE this video :) :) :) :) Ridin the Sequoia is on my "Bucket List" !!
It would be so awesome if you did a motovlogging series in conjunction.
What jeans are you wearing Jamie? I assume some sort of riding jeans? They look great.
Thanks for your videos!
Hey Jamie, do you figure out where you can camp before you set off or do you just find a nice spot and hope no one comes and kicks you out?
+Asib I always try to plan as little as possible, the unknown is a big attraction to me and that way, it is a real adventure everytime. :)
Great videos Jamie
1:11 Hey Jamie, what boots do you ride with? Do you find them safe for long distances?
+jamesbennyification The boots I'm wearing in this video are the Alpinestars San Diego Boots www.motogeo.com/pvld. They're fantastic!
+MotoGeo they look flipping amazing! You should do a video on gear you like. You always have such swag on the bike man!
OMG dat burger. :x
It wouldn't be an episode of MotoGeo without Jamie stuffing his face with the local grub.
Now that’s something you just don’t see, a Goldwing on the beach!
How do you like the Scala headset?
cool vid as always
Salut
Toujours aussi bien, tes vidéos ;)
V
Nice to find SeeSee MC sticker on your helmet!
Thank you for showing one can look cooler wearing gear than without
Yes! Gear saves lots of pain and misery, thank-you for your comment! :)
enjoy your videos..thanks..
How do you like the Scala?
Surely you could have found a cute little bird for the back seat.
Hello Sena Take me to Pismo Beach.
Fantastic video Jamie, but PG Tips tastes better :)
Anyone else notice the elbow sliders and the goldwing combo haha
Dear Jamie,
Please review the new CRF1000L Africa Twin! ☺
Thank you.
+Asaph Leong Don't worry, it is on the cards :)
I cannot believe you didn't bring the wifey on that Cadillac of a bike!
salut moto geo quel est la meilleure moto gt pour faire de la route merci de me répondre ou quel est la meilleure moto
It seems like any motorcycle under Jamie's legs can do anything, but the idea is that any motorcycle can do anything: It happens that Jamie is doing it better ... he he
+Paolo D'Alberto All motorbikes can go on and off-road, some maybe better than others but you can have lots of fun on any motorbike. :)
+MotoGeo Agreed. I will postpone to try with my ZX14. But I plan to learn how to use it every year and every day a little better and differently, use it differently. You are my inspiration and motivation. Keep on.
MotoGeo, I dream of being you.
MP3 CB not working from dealer

BEAUTY
Why wear a backpack when on a Goldwing?
+brianmcg321 Well if he didn't have a cup holder installed, maybe it was a hydration pack... sipping on the way.
A Goldwing trail bike!
No wheelies Jaime? I'm disappointed...
Man, you and your burgers.
Where does this accent come from?
Enjoyable
Ride to Camp, Camp to Ride....
THEBEST
Hav'ing fun Hay..Yeah..............

Sick helmet
+Philippe Garneau Thanks buddy, it is an Arai RX-Q UK flag helmet with a few stickers added
spotted the See See sticker
Point of order: BMW K1600GTL would be the most luxurious
+letgouvgod I thought about checking out the BMW, but their dealerships are too spread out and the maintenance schedule and cost seems rediculous. Not to mention the recalls. +Froglaps But I'll give ya the bmw is luxurious, to me not as practical as having a honda dealer in every town.
the moment with a dead animal: wtf? the worst fuckin shot ever
Nice video. Fun time, but Jamie I think your diet is going to kill you. Yikes
why do I find that there is something innate about this guy wanting to off road anything that has two wheels
awesome video, except the dead squirrel choice.
I would have gut rot if I ate like you do on motorcycle trips lol big greasy hamburger churning in my stomach, wouldn't be a good day.
Thank your i like you
Must try to ride the asian king of the road suzuki raider 150,,ph.
