This is, hands down, the best motorcycle UA-cam channel!! GO MotoGeo!! *woot woot*
Nadeem Ansari Agreed
So nice of you to say, thank you all for watching and the support! :)
Jamie is the only person who can review bikes with nothing but a positive attitude. Other journalists need to take notes.
One of my favorite motorcycle channels on YT. Always a blast to be part of your crazy adventures. Keep up the great work! :)
I my name is Andrea and i watched that episode when you upload it.
As a crf 250 owner i Was searching For something bigger (For travel far and alone or medium-short but comfortable with my girlfriend) but not too big (For my opinion you must be able to pull up your bike by yourself if she fall in the asphalt).
One month later i sold my crf and i buy the cb 500x.
Now it Was pass 1 year and 3 month and i can say I LOVE THAT BIKE.
Comfortable, agile, fast and adventurous.
I apply only few little mods and she became a tyre closer.
Thanks For all
I was looking to replace my Grom with a 250l rally, but I'm leaning toward the 500x now. Are you still enjoying it?
"get on your motorcycle and go ride it!, anywhere!" quotes give me goosebumps!nice video!!!
Jamie's so professional he always reviews with an open mind he doesn't review a sports bike
from a cruiser perspective or a cruiser from a sports bike perspective. He reviews from
an unbiased perspective seeing the motorcycle as it was intended to be marketed , he doesn't let
price, big HP, or trends cloud his judgement. Well done from your fans in Blighty.
I love this episode. I'm thinking about adding a CB500X to my shed
As always your videos make me dream awake. thx
Best regards
Medel
Jamie you're videos truly capture the essence of motorcycling, keep up the great work.
Dude, your videos are SO well put together. Me and my dad have a lot of fun watching them! I've been living in Pasadena for 3 months (move all the way from Argentina) and I had never heard about the fair oaks pharmacy! I'm going to have to go there now! (thanks to you). It chills my bones to see all the places I am visiting in your video.
Also, the first thing I did when I got here was buy a old and rusty '86 honda rebel 250 and it is what I use everyday to get everywhere. I am done with all the safety stuff (priorities), and now I am working on giving it a bit more punch. People sometimes give me wierd looks (specially when I go to some biker bars) because everyone here rides newer and bigger bikes, but that is what I can afford, and I LOVE riding it in the canyons. Motorcycling is all about the experience, the places you visit, the new things you learn, and the fun you have with either yourself or whoever decides to join you in your crazy adventures. That's why I love your last phrase in your videos "get on your motorcycle, and go and ride it, anywhere". It is spot on. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
Jamie I watched you as a youngster racing now I find you again by chance! Still a star mate, keep up the great work as new chapters are just begining.
Please, make more videos with the Honda CB500x!
Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Cheers from Brazil!
How has this not become a TV show yet!
That looks like an AWESOME trip. I'm going to do that some day. Surprised one road has so much heritage!
Very nice adventure. Great coverage through the heart of LA. Wonderful to see more of my home town documented through the eyes of a motorbike.
Forget the route, forget the bike. These videos just inspire you to get back to basics: get....out....and....ride! :)
When the snow is gone of course :(
Seriously, great video. Makes me want to head to California.
Just came here from the ducati scrambler video motogeo put out after I saw your comment. Great to hear how hes changed your life. Truly inspiring:) have fun and stay safe brother
I have the CB500X and it's definitely a good bike for this kind of trip.
Best Motorcycle Channel.
I love all about Route 66 and also drove on parts of it quite a few times now. My favorite was a road trip between Texas and Vegas (there's a video in my USA playlist). If you have sometime, come on over... I'd love to know what you think! :) All the best!
another awesome adventure!
Thank you MotoGeo team for helping me get my daily motorcycle adventure fix :)
Great video. Can't wait to take my CB500X on this trip!!!
Excellent video! Great ride, I'm looking forward to riding that same route someday.
You guys rode right through my town of Rcho Cucamonga! The old Yellow & Blue Richfield gas station has just been rehabbed and is going to be a Route 66 museum. Excellent video.
Take care and rsmf...
Hey Papa2two Thanks man, ride safe
Jamie, your energy is so damn contagious!
Wow, it so very wonderful to drive Route 66, I would like to drive in the future !
Awesome! I've got the cbr500r, I love how both the adventure and the naked version look and feel!
Needed to post to keep this great channel and great story going. Everyday now my son asks 'Dad, are we watching Motogeo tonight? ' you bet, son! You bet
As always awesome video.
I really like the message behind a lot of these videos. Just go ride. It doesn't matter where you go, just that you go.
Best video ...Thanks Jamie...
Wow, great trip. I love a good motorcycle trip!
Very nice! Wonderful! Congratulations!
thanks for showing this. hope one day can do this route :)
I did a similar ride these past two days! Orange county to Tempe and back again. About 1000 miles in 2 days. Try going through Idyllwild, gorgeous roads!
What a great video. It's something I can only dream about doing and the bike I would like to use is the same one - Honda's CB500X. Seems like a great all round type of bike.
7y gr,
Another great video, never thought of route 66 like that before.
also, I wouldn't be capable of eating a tenth of that ice cream bowl. Good lord that thing was ridiculous

Only the hills of Azusa are fun :)
Another smile inducing video journey : )
Another great video, Jamie! Your stuff is really well shot and edited. Hey, hope your not lactose intolerant ! ;-) Ride on!
Let's hope not! :)
Looooove! 66 roadtrip is my dream! Take me there :D
Nice bike, I like CB500X
good job, very entertaining video.
Well done motogeo!!
I'm jealous on so many levels!!!!!
Great video Jamie, you show what motorcycle riding is all about.
Is that jacket the Alpinestars black shadow huntsman by the way? If so, you like it? I've been looking for that one in the right size here in Holland, but haven't found it yet
Loved the video
I have the same bike...and now I have to take the same ride. Thanks
+motogeo great video, one of my favorites! I live in SoCal and would love to do this ride some time, but with adding a loop through San Diego and hitting Salvation Mountain. Where did you get that awesome map? Is it the "Here It Is" series? Thanks for the inspiring videos! Braaap!
Awesome bike and adventure. What is the top comfortable highway cruising speed? The speed limit in a lot of Utah and Nevada is 80 mph. How would this bike do at keeping up with the traffic?
Nice video man, thanks !
i LOVEE cb 500 x
Jamie, if you keep eating like that, you're going to get so fat you will only be able to do Harley reviews. Thanks for the adventure!
NakedBeachRider lol
Haahaaa, don't worry I burn it off when I get home running around after my young'un.
You went through my hood man! Upland, CA
this is the route that featured in cars film right?
nice content
i subbed
nice ride
The BNSF runs though there, I love it. I am retired from there. 34 years and I had enough.
Lucky bastard!! That is from the Heart and meant with affection BTW!
Mate, love it and (no worries) I am just green with ENVY!!! :-)
Jaime. You suck. Now I wanna get out and ride. And it's 0 degrees here in Minnesota.
Haha.
Great video. Keep em coming!
Stay warm brother!
Cheer up. We'll be warm by Monday, and once the salt is washed away, it's off we go.
Here in Albuquerque the coldest it gets is just about freezing, but the cage drivers bring the salt and cinders down from the mountains, so there is "sand" at nearly every intersection until a spring rain washes it down.
So you notice who are real riders and posers by who disappears once it gets to 60F or colder. But I do wish I had ABS on the commute.
Fantastic!
HEY POLLOS ASADOS!!! Why didn't you stopped in there? ;) Great video never thought that route extended that long, now I know, also had no idea I was in there when I visited Sta. Monica.
where did you get that map? I've tried to find it but I failed, man you was on heaven really haha
What a jolly chap!
Hope Jamie does Route 66 through some other states.
Yes, I did them all once, you can see the video here: vimeo.com/2665195
Sorry for the quality, it was my first video! Next time I'll do a better job.
Just one camera man? How does he follow you around? Thanks for another great video
Beautiful ride MotoGeo . Did you enjoy the Honda?
Very much
You have interesting video's! I cannot say it the best, but they are great. If I eat burger's then it might be the best! lol.
Rough road and gas stations are a long ways apart. Usually near where 66 intersects the freeway. Should be done with more than one person or support vehicle. If you should break down on 66 there is no traffic so no assistance available. So plan ahead.
My son just moved there. Nice to get a look around from the other coast! Man lane splitting looks scary! Motogeo and Jamie rock. Need any production help with drones let me know! Have you used any in your videos? I know some ambitious young guys in LA who would like to help!
speaking of lane splitting looks like a few other states are working on passing a bill.
"Get on your motorcycle and go ridin'... anywhere!"
Yeah... to bloody work, god damnit! 😖 lol
No MotoLady? Didn't you guys meet up during this trip? Great vid though!
Hello from Greece! Great work! One question... What is your height?
Love your videos Jamie. That girl at 12:10 almost hit that ped, is that a phone in her hand I see?
probably you should visiting radiator spring
haha
You needed Furious Pete to help you with that ice cream challenge
Hey there-great vid ! My G/F & I are going to US & going the other way from L.A. To Austin..
Are there enough fuel stops on the way on 66?
Keep up the great posts.
Cheers
D
Yes plenty, but the run to Amboy and back to the freeway is a long one so make sure you fill up before you head there.
Good luck, have fun! :)
Nice areas to ride & see for sure. But little said about the bike used on the trip, like does it have the power to carry a load, mpg, seat / comfort ect ?
I noticed that you were wearing a leather jacket, what temperatures were you getting whilst over there?
Jamie, I was wondering if you had any impressions of the bike. How did it hold up in your travels? Thanks!
Perfect!
Which Alpinestars jacket is Jamie wearing? Looks nice
Josh A Don't quote me on this but I believe it's the Alpinestars Black Shadow Huntsman Jacket. Looks the same to me.
Love the vid, but what's with the road surface?
Is it always so bad over there. (Euro rider here )
Bring back Vespa girl but this time in The Bay. Awesome videos.
