when you went through that box I was like "whaaat?" But when I saw the finished product I was like "Whaaaaaat?" Pure genius and attention to details in all that you do...love love love your vids!
See I have a school project where im doing this exact thing! Though Im also adding a pig heart snd comparing them from one another. Sadly I couldn’t manipulate the balloon, so I just resorted to crumpling up a bunch of paper, forming it into the hearts, putting the paper mache on it, letting it dry, make the ventricles out of polymer clay, and then painting it. Its gonna be a long process but so far I almost have both prototypes done and ready to paint soon!
Amazingggg. I was very impressed. I like they way you stuck with the paper mache. It has been many many years since I have seen or worked with paper mache so it brought back fond childhood memories. Great job. TFS
Kinda! Anatomical hearts were especially trendy around the time I made this video, but it still goes in and out. Also my wife is a nurse so we always like to display medical-inspired decor
Thank you! I don't! :( It got damaged during a move a while back. I really want to try this again though, without the restriction of this craft challenge. Maybe for Valentine's day!
How did you put the balloons all together like that? I have a project coming up and you're making of the heart is amazing. I want to make mine like yours. What did you use?
YOU HAVE DONE AN SPEECHLESS!!!! JOB BUT SEE I HAVE AN CONFUSION THAT HOW DID YOU GOT THE ACCURATE SHAPE OF HUMAN HEART? Pls do reply I need an help because I have to make it for my school...pls
Thanks so much! I just did a quick google search and kept playing with the shape until it looked right! It's actually a little off from certain angles, but its more about the general shape! :)
+Kristin H. Thanks! And honestly it depends! If the piece is porous then most paints should stick pretty easily! If its smooth/shiny you might have to search for some specialty paint! :)
It did totally fine! Since the construction paper was so thick, the paper maché result was SUPER hard (this could also be thanks to the multiple layers). The balloon actually popped and is still loose inside the heart, just bouncing around! lol
Ahh! Sorry! I'm hoping to revisit this project eventually. If you still want to give it a go, my best advice is to play around with a few balloons and pick the one that best fits the shape you want!
hi excuse me can you please list the items that u use because we have a project like that and i choose ur video so plz can u list it? can it be now? plz just realy need it.
Hey! Yeah, I mention the supplies in the video! The basic ones are balloons, tape, paper, glue, water, and paint. I also used small plastic cups and packing peanuts for the smaller structures. The base was popsicle sticks, foam, paper tubs, paint, and a paintbrush. I think that's about it!

I just taped them together! I also used the tape to shape them a little. Most tapes will work as long as you use enough!

Thank you!
great job Chris love it
+Coleen Taylor Thanks! :)
I wonder if it's possible to make this anatomical heart model a cross section?
so i could label the interior of the heart
I think you could! This ended up being very sturdy and once the outer shell is dry you could totally cut it open and detail the inside.
Wow amazing
all I can say Is Wow!!!!!!!
+Kathy Byrne Awww! Thank you!
New subbie....that heart is amazing. Found you via MayMay and Melody's Crafty Life live 😀
+Piles of Polish Thanks for the love!! They are so great, and the show was so much fun!
How did u get the shape in balloon
I believe I used tape to form the "lobes" of the heart, since it stuck to the balloon
you are amazing!
+Aleea Sieben Aww! Thank you so much! :)
thank you !!
hey hi can u please tell me how did u change the shape of balloon and didnt it burst wen u tried to tie it?please can u tell me😅 how did u do it?
I just didn't blow the balloons up all the way, so they had a lot of give to them! Then I just used tape to make it into the general shape I wanted!
can u please tell me after u kept the heart on the stand did the balloon burst and did it create any cracks or problems?
It did totally fine! Since the construction paper was so thick, the paper maché result was SUPER hard (this could also be thanks to the multiple layers). The balloon actually popped and is still loose inside the heart, just bouncing around! lol
Thanks
I make this its so easy
with group
i like it & i"ll try 😊
F*ing AMAZING
Question! Would I be able to cut this heart in half, or would it break too much??
I'm not sure, but even after all this time the paper mache is REALLY hard. I would give it a shot!
Christopher Blake Handmade Alrighty! Thank you, I'll give you an update on how it went
Nice!
+Tim's Woodworking Thank you!
