it also can deal 2800 damage to a vic in one run, so you can kill any high hp ifv and easily finish off any tank after a tank vs tank fight. although something to note: the rockets only have 200 mm of pen so the only place you are damaging tanks is the engine block and the side of the hull.
It is fun though, I think they wanted to make it underwhelming at first then build on-top of that. I think they decided it was better to play on the side of caution with the first CAS.

If you dive and keep the collective up, then you’re aim is above the X, if you dive and reduce collective, then aim will be lower than X. Goal is to get roughly to hover setting with collective when diving so the X is where you hit
You need to use mouse aim in helis for accurate aim, change pitch from a + d to mouse x, just click inside the box and move your mouse left in both boxes set pitch up to space pitch down to ctrl roll with a and d instead once you get it setup and used to it then you'll basically never miss with the miniguns or rockets (also they both shoot above the X so aim lower as you were missing alot in the video)
@@division7732 but then when you fire it cancels the free look. I wish they would make the default zoom point the "X" on the window and let me free look to the panel instead. I don't need to left click when looking at the panel. It's an easy fix.

Project Reality had full blown fixed wing fighters and bombers, and fully decked out gunship helicopters with thermal sights and zoom on HE autocannons, and teams had to have an active anti-air effort on the map. You'll live.
Its hard to balance this kinda vehicle because different player skill levels. I used to fly Heli's in Arma and using any scout heli with guns on deathmatch type servers or wasteland servers I would be top of the leaderboards like 200 kills - 5 deaths but on average people who flew heli's would only get 10-20 kills before being killed or use them to transport only. So the people who get only 10-20 kills would complain the heli's sucked meanwhile players would complain its OP when im using it.
I get 70 kills with tanks on average ، people sometimes complain too it’s the aspect of any vehicle on the game so being skilled should not be offending

To be fair top sides of tanks are usually much thinner. That's why the Javelin is design to go top down.

The number of rockets is fine, since they rearm fast and do tons of damage to armoured vehicles, the health however is incredibly disappointing

omg why cant i have a single asset that is immortal and can wipe an entire enemy convoy
