altare really is so sweet. he cares a lot about his friends (or sister in this case lol). he bought her skins before for no reason, simply because she really wanted it, and now he does all of this for her birthday. what a great guy

fr. it’s so cute and sweet that occasionally he’ll see something and be like “oh *insert person here* would like this. let me get it for them.” we need more people like that in the world. even outside of the context of a birthday - just giving your friends or family something because you saw it and knew they’d really enjoy it
Generous sure, but more so he knows what would actually make the other person happy and goes find and buy it.

Which is a mistake on Kobo's part LOL karma's gonna bite her soon for throwing away those Ragus tickets LOL.
Axel only has one ticket, and he even warned her that inviting that "certain person" may decline his invitation, meaning if she used the Axel ticket, Axel invites Izuru, Izuru says no, then that ticket is wasted. No more Axel tickets LOL.
But w/ big bro Altare, when they play Valo together, it's never just the two of them. They're usually w/ 3-4 ppl (Rio, Astel, Axel, Ollie, Calli, Dez, Vesper, etc.). Those are 5 tickets, meaning Altare can invite anyone he wanted w/o telling Kobo abt it - what if those ppl he invites happens to be Izuru? LOL. Since Kobo threw away those tickets, and one of the ppl he ends up playing turns out to be Izuru, then she can't play w/o those tickets LOL😂
I get the feeling Kobo doesn't realize that Axel isn't the only one in Tempus who has the rights to invite Izuru in a collab - the other three can invite him too😂

[Update from Christmas Day] Kobo actually didn't throw away the tickets. They've already been playing Valo (offline) and she already used up three tickets (she tweeted about it but deleted it later). Who they did an off-collab with we'll never know.
But my theory still stands about Axel not being the only one who can invite Izuru LOL. Earlier today (close to midnight JST), Altare stopped by Izuru's guitar stream to greet "Merry Christmas!" and Izuru going "Altare-kun ya! Merry Christmas!" all happy. There was some silence after that and we could hear Izuru typing on his keyboard for quite a bit (most likely talking to Altare probably on their Discord), then Altare commented in DeepL-translated Japanese (Senpai, I'm sorry I couldn't speak Japanese, but I hope you have a nice day!), then Izuru said to him: "Yeah, have a nice day! Thanks, Altare!", then played/sang another song. Yup 😊
Just a note, Izuru calls Altare "Altare-kun" because he's older than him (7 months older), not necessary because they don't know each other well or something.. Even with Astel, they've been close friends for the longest time and he still calls him "Astel-kun" (because Astel is older by 2-3 yrs I think). He calls Aruran "Aruran-san," Rikka as "Rikka-kun," etc. for the same reason
This was about an hour before Altare stopped by Kobo's Madison stream btw😊
Ok, they may not be related by blood, but at this point, I’d 100% consider Altare and Kobo brother and sister. Tons of bickering and teasing, but also very sweet and wholesome moments like this. That pure sibling dynamic is just so fun and cute to watch.

kobo and ragus definitely have one of the best dynamics in hololive, and while their fighting and name-calling is of course hilarious, I think the true depth of their bond really hits home in clips like these. the way altare immediately starts worrying about kobo when she gets emotional and how his voice turns all soft and concerned is incredibly moving, especially considering the other clip from a few days ago where kobo expresses her complex feelings towards her real-life older brother having autism. it is such a joy to see two people from completely different countries who have completely different first languages grow this close, and I hope that kobo will continue to have her ragus as the big brother she wished for
Hopefully she will. Because of the new Tempus boys debut, Altare has to focus on them, making sure they're taken care of, during their first month (plus Tempus 6-mo anniversary coming soon). At the moment Kobo is collabing w/ some StarsJP senpais (so far, Fuma, Astel, Uyu) until the collab ban is lifted (maybe in Feb or earlier, we'll see).
They may gain another sibling (or maybe Kobo's rival?) now that mecha pilot kusogaki kid Machina X Flayon is in the picture. He and Kobo already met on Twitter by giving each other new names LOL. Kobo calls him Crayon, Frayon, Flea, Fly. Flayon calls her Kobble, Kobalt, and some other names I can't remember LOL.
Ragus really knows how to push Kobos buttons from that guy to angy to tears of joy in seconds 😂
