My wife and I are currently doing RCIA and we are so blessed with your messages. I can also state even with the problems and crises in the Catholic Church like this ecumenical council with worldly celebrities after I read about the Arian crises I know that Christ will carry His church through and the faithful remnant will get out stronger afterwards. God will provide the Athanasiuses, the Antonies and the Basils to shut the mouth of the people trying to lead the flock estray.

Great explanation. We have to work our salvation in grace. Not once saved is always saved. Even the Angels in Heaven, already in heaven rebelled against God were thrown out of Heaven to the lake of fire. So work out our salvation like all the Apostles down to our time with the love of the Lord...

Why would you choose to follow God, who gave his only son to die on the cross for mankind, and not be sure of your salvation? Catholics in this sense are like Muslims. Who have no idea if they’re saved or not. Walking by life not knowing if God gave his life for them. It’s an awkward position to be in as a Catholic if there is no sense of security that the God you worship can take away your salvation.
But the text is clear enough Eduardo. It is not enough to say that I give my life to Jesus and I am a born again Christian. One needs to bear fruits that testify of our salvation. Jesus said it is not enough to call Him master but one must do the will of the Father in heaven.
Eduardo - Salvation is a process and is Dynamic in nature. Its Not Static . We have been saved Eph 2:8-9 We are being saved - Phil 2:12 We hope to be saved Mt 10:22 But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.- Matt 24:13 We Catholics believe exactly what the Bible says.. Shalom
